Organic means only no fertilizers and pesticides; in the long run it is better for you, but if everyone suddenly went all-organic, there wouldn't be anywhere enough produce to feed everyone. Organic is more labor-intensive, and crops (on the same amount of land) are smaller. As to smoking, it is not by any means the only cause of lung cancer. Asbestos is a biggie, and other environmental factors can cause it. Christopher Reeves' wife Dana never smoked and yet died of lung cancer. About 20 years ago the woman who was thought to be the world's oldest living Human, died in Paris at age 122 and she was a smoker. There are no absolutes or guarantees.
We just happen to have a place near us that has grass fed beef and poultry, not bad tastes good I notice not as much marbling in the meat but with the right amount of rub and smoke it on the Treager smoker I bought a couple years ago it comes out real good. Going with this grass fed beef and poultry I have noticed my gut got smaller but my weight stayed the same. When you cook that steak on the rare side if you leave the steak sit out for an hour it won't taste cold when you cook it rare. My brother has it done Pittsburg style and it looks cooked and charred on the outside and nice and rare on the inside. How about that mean looking sandwich above GO EAT!
Yeah, OK 100% beef, 100% vegetarian? https://slate.com/culture/2014/07/v...al-beef-ad-is-fake-sadly-but-still-funny.html
Ronnie, second hand smoke exposure is/was a huge issue. For older adults especially there was no way to avoid it. Happiest day of my life when they outlawed smoking in restaurants in my state. Is it still legal in some? It’s just dumb. Asbestos is another possibility as is Radon gas. There is a map on line that shows high Radon areas across the US. My state Mass is real bad. Basements with no air circulation are the worst. Like smoking a pack a day if you spend time there.
Thanks for that info. I remember smoking in resturants like it was yesterday, it was a horrible idea. It was outlawed in the 90s.
We gotta work out too, everyday. To push all those bad toxins out of our bodies. Im 5'11 and 210lbs. Hi my name is Ronnie and im overweight. Im fat, i might not look it and my 2xl buick shirt hides it well but I'm a fat ass.. This is step one, being real with your self. Step 2 is working out Step 3 eat less Step 4 repeat
I grew up with smoke everywhere....ride in car with parents...they had their little no draft windows open we were gagging in the back seat....everyone smelled like smoke so you didn't even notice it. When I bought my 67 Riv you could literally scrape tar off the interior trim and it was only 9yrs old!
I first smoked at 13 Had my first swig of beer at 9 from grandpa, it was the best thing for me because it taste like crap so I hated beer for so long. Shot my first gun at 7. Rode on horses young too, my mom and I fell off one when I was 2. .
