Winter upgrades anyone, race related?

    Setting mine up to play, I am about to install a Holley HP150 fuel pump and regulator so that I have enough fuel.

    Wieght with stock Buick ralleys and drag radials....3650. With Greg welds slicks/skinnies 3525.

    I like the procharger idea, I would love a boosted Buick motor, its just not in the cards at this time.

    Your's is a little lighter than mine im sure, I dont know what mine weighs but I have a feeling it will be closer to 4000-ish. or atleast 3800.

    There is nothing special about the weight of my car that I see the only thing different from stock is the AC hardware is missing and the stock bench was swapped out for a pair of "Procar" bucket seats, and the spare stuff is out, otherwise this is a full weight car.
    I actually have some parts in the car that make it heavier then stock, the 12 bolt rear is heavier, the driveshaft I have is heavier, rear suspension is UMI adjustable with relocation brackets all that has to add about 50-60 lbs more then there stock counter parts.

    I dont know, Maybe mine isnt as heavy as I though, I guess ill have to go to a trucking place sometime soon and see

    hmm...i assume youre weight is with you in the car correct?
    as i always thought the 350 skylark was shy of 3500 shipping weight

    Those weights are with me OUT of the car on the scale at Atco Dragway. Its the only way to read the scale race weight is actually 3800lbs with me in it currently.
