The first two are bonnafied 11 second cars, on pump gas, and everything is there and works.

Last car pictured is a 72 STG 1 convert.. stock appearing with Alum heads..

We had this car at the Car Craft summer nats this year, and since it was about as hot as the face of the sun that day, of course we put the top up, and rolled the windows up, and clicked the AC on as we putted thru the crowds and traffic on the way out of the fairgrounds..

And I bet I saw half a dozen folks point their finger and mouth "Man, that car has working AC"..

Of course it does.. it's a Buick...

Thanks Jim, I wish I had this info a few weeks back though. Everything is in and hooked up minus a few vacuum lines, so I think I will leave the motor in and try an alternative. I love the learning curve on some of this stuff, if it was that easy, everyone would be doing it. I have gotten more info on this one thread than I have in the last month or so.
Any helpful hints on tranmission cooling lines with the TA headers, they seem to be in the way so I am bending my own up using brake lines. Also, if possible I may be modifying my 350 fan shroud to work with this 455, new ones seem a little pricey.

:Brow:I will venture to say that when my '86 Regal (below in my sig..) is done and back on the road I will not have a problem with being fast even though I AM keeping my A/C and power steering fully functional. I hope that soon Flaming River will start producing a power rack-n-pinion system for the G-body (I'm keeping on them about it...please e-mail them if you have a Regal or any other G-body and express your interest:TU: )...it loose 50+ lbs off of the front end...ahead of the front wheels.:Brow:

Well, I love what you have to show Jim, THANKS :TU:

I will be keeping the AC and going fast. I will still like to hear from people about their cam selection to keep the AC working. Think the gs 112 will work well with AC?

Any input appreciated! You guys are awesome!!!!!

You might want to try flex lines and run them through the frame. Not stock appearing but very functional.

I'm running Poston's 113A cam which, they say, is specifically made for a/c cars. I like the cam. Enough vacuum for the brakes, idles at about 800 in park, 750 or so in gear. A fair idle, but definitely not rough. The car is JUST moving a bit sitting at a light. The ricers definitely know the engine has a cam in it.
