Well don't let it just sit there, put it on!:TU:
Check it over real well inside. Flush it out with garden hose, and compressed air. I had a new D/P that had casting sand and chunks in it once. Lucky I noticed it.:Smarty:

Looks like a square bore carb only intake? I thought it would be the square bore/spread bore flange like the BBB version? No matter to me though because I wouldn't run a Q-Jet anyway, I like it!!!

It was delivered just before I left for the airport, so I won't be able to play with it till next week. But it sure is purdy! I had pondered doing a back to back test while at Norwalk.. But time preparing before then may be an issue.

The bolt holes may be there but you would need an adapter to run the Q-jet, the secondary throttle blades would hit. The problem is the adapter is 3/4" tall so hood clearance can be an issue. Bet you could clearance the carb pad though. My SP1 is a Q-jet opening. You can run either carburetor easily with no hood clearance concerns and I do.

Luckily, I have many implements of destruction to help this situation as I will be running a qjet. My hope is to not run a spacer in hopes there will be enough space for the 2004r arm without the spacer.
