    northcorner Guess what I'm thinking..

I've run 11.07 1/4 mile and 6.95 1/8 mile with this cam in my "old school" motor in my 3850 lb. truck (see avatar and signature).

By "old school" I mean it has old stage 2 pistons, KB107 cam, KB cool runner intake, Dominator, Iron heads, and KB rockers. The heads flow around 270 intake and 180 exhaust at .500 lift. I always shift it at 5800 (per recommendations) and it actually runs best there.

I'm pretty sure there are guys that have run faster with this cam, but I'm not sure how heavy they were.

I am planning on running stock 10:1 cast pistons with stock deck height and stock heads. has anyone done this with the kb 107 window rattler? my plan is to assemble it and mock it up to check clearance. Will I have less clearance issues with a set of small valve heads? I thought there was another post a while back where guys were saying this would work without notched pistons and they were running this combination. I cant seem to find it anymore. That was the information I used to compile the parts I have for my rebuild. I was looking forward to using my window rattler-it is NOS! I also have a ta510 and a good used window rattler. I bought all three of them in a package deal.

See the "parts for sale" section-I just listed my ta 510 and kb107-both used but in nice shape.
