Body bushings, firewall, inner fender, core support repair/paint, painted frame, cleaned EVERYTHING, new rear main, new TSP mechanical pump (needed regulating for the Qjet), new sturdier 200-4R. Down since October, drove it Sunday.
1968 Corvette Project This winter I got nowhere! With the push of my Buick buddies and my wife and kids being a little less demanding I will try to move forward with this #matching frame off restoration, AL.
Just got the motor from Scotty last night. Hauled the car up to Stage1 Auto this morning to drop the motor in. It's in. Tranny's in. Driveshaft's in. Just gotta meet Rob at the shop early tomorrow and fill it with oil, water, and trans fluid...hook up a few wires and fire it up. Load it into the trailer and leave for Norwalk. Wish I could've gotten to the track before heading out all that way, but I'm just glad Scotty had it on the dyno, so I know it runs good. Shakedown passes to come Thursday. See Ya!
Same here Doug, we fired mine up this afternoon, loaded the beast up & i'm packing the BEER as we speak. Randy :beer
