Totally ignores you, until you get on the laptop or computer. Then they won’t leave you alone…gets under your hands, throws a stuffed toy at you, wants to stare into your eyes , wants to stop what you’re doing and just pay attention to them and only them. JEEZ!
My sister's dog is the same way. It just lays around until you need to do something, then it is under your feet all the time. go back to being idle, and it will just lay around.
I have a spoiled pup too, my wife spoiled him, I had nothing to do with it. He likes to be next to me on the sofa, he also wants my undivided attention, he will lay there as long as I'm not occupied with something. As soon as I start computing, or talking on the phone he hits the floor. Bob H.
Don't like it? Get a cat. Oh wait, they love warm computers and warm laps. Do what we did -- get a cat AND a heating pad. Problem solved.
Our dog only does that if im giving any attention to one of the cats. She will push the cat out of the way with her nose.
Seems like mines the same. Needs attention when I’m on the phone or computer. But pretty much follows me anywhere I go
Somehow, I came across an 8 hour video of mice digging tunnels. I showed it to my cat and now every morning, he sits in front of the monitor waiting for me to turn it on. [ATTACH=
Here's my cool dog, he just passed away and I miss him so much. He's a Chug. He would follow me everywhere.
We have an English Springer Spaniel. She is 12, and so, a little slow, and many trips outside to pee. It seems though, I can be downstairs for hours, won't go out. As soon as I pick up my laptop on the bed, bang! She comes up and stares at me until I get up and either let her out, or, she wants a milk bone treat. She is mostly deaf and half blind, so, what can you do, just love them and wash her dog bed occasionally.
I have two Shiloh Shepherds (yes, it's a real breed, think big German Shepherd - may have German Shepherd type coat or be long-haired. I have one of each). The younger and bigger of the two likes to walk right at my feet. I am constantly telling her to "Move."
