Which spark plug wires for Stage 2 aluminum head

Trying to get things I need for the Supercharged motor to be ready for the spring thrash. Motor currently has a MSD HVCII coil,planning on a MSD distributor(8517) Kinda like the Super conductor 8.5 or the Taylor 10.4's What boots work best with Stage 2 heads? Straight or angled??

 

I used 135 degree with Stage2 SE and 2" headers.

 

Taylor is a better wire imo,..the thunder volt 10.4s in the 135° are a perfect choice

 

Look into the Aussie made "ICE" distributor

 

You don't need anything more than the 73053 8mm Taylor wires, unless your running a 40Amp mag or something..

Big fat plug wires are a pain to loom and deal with..

I have the MSD 8.5 wires on my 400. I just bent the spark plug connectors/boots to whatever angle I needed.

 

To who?? ... me and my dyno guy see those, and we just roll our eyes...

"Ya, you need those..".

Those big wires were developed for Top Alky and the nitro cars, running 44amp mags..

I used to like the MSD wires, but the insulation tends to break down faster on them.. especially the boots.. seen that a few times.

Girth is where it's at,..but yea the MSD wires are pure **** now my twin turbo Camaro would eat boots like no other,..the Moroso wires are really nice too,..9mm on those
