If anyones knows where this car may be, please PM me.
I have valuable original documents (bill of sale, etc) for it.

note: last I heard it was fitted with power steering.

    Thanks////Bruce

    Love that shot from 1981.
It appears that the car still sported it's original paint in 1981,the GSX stripes look dead on?
Secondly ,what was the factory option load on that car?
I see WD2 15 x7 wheels and G60's ,sport mirrors, hood tach, are those items original to the car?
Was this a front spoiler car did it have N25 exhaust ,rear sway bar,buckets/console ,rally guages ,rally steering wheel?
You mentioned before it had manual brakes was it a 350 car?
PDB were standard on Stage and non Stage car in 71 and 2
Lastly, did you put the red stripe rocker panel moldings on the car,GSX cars should have black but in 71-2 I think most GSX's would have recieved red GS rockers due to their low production?
    Let us know
    Thanks Rich

This car is amazing. The originality is superb. I have been wanting this car for years, but it is in good hands. :TU:

I have several pics I took at the 2007 Dallas Rod and Custom show, but will not post them without the permission of the owner.

Hopefully he won't get too mad if I show just one to compliment the pic Bruce posted from 1981.

I'm also working on another guy to bring his Apollo White 70 GSX. He is not a LSPBC member, but I told him I know people who could get his car in with ours. You better come thru if he does... Four original GSX's in one local show doesn't happen very often. :TU:

PS - What are doing over here these days? You don't even have a vBuick anymore! :Do No: :Smarty: :spank: :bla:

My brother does :bla: so there  :) Hey I love all of the Buicks! I still have one Buick!:spank:

Now about that white X, it looks like we may have an opening in our 10 car display? One of the Turbo T's in our group is having brake problems, he called me today to let me know he might be out? We have about one more week of registration time. If he is not 100% by Monday, I will let you know asap because we are short on time.
If the white X is not in we will fill the spot with a 2nd car (87GN) from Rob Downey. He already has his TTA in the show. The white X would be my first choice. The LSPBC membership is not necessary but nice. :)

Like the saying goes, there is no replacement for displacement. :3gears:

I think David misses his 72 GS so much he's starting to hang around the v8 board just to fill that void. Either that or there's too much drama on the turbo boards! :eek2:

PS - Sorry for the hijack, Bruce. I'm glad you found your old car. It still looks as good as it did in 1981! :TU:

Yeah I miss the 72 a little :( but my 86GN was the better car of the two, but the 72 looked and ran much better when I sold it than when I bought it.
If it had been a real 70 BB car, I might of sold the GN instead maybe?
That would have been a tough choice. Remember the 72 was a clone.

As far as the "No replacement for displacement" It's call a turbo! :Smarty:
High 11's in the 1/4 and 28mpg with the A/C on on the way home.:beer

You can come on over and hang out on the Turbo board anytime you like you can be my special guest in the Texas section :) Just tell em you know the Mod and he said you could come and play. :TU:

And yes sorry Bruce, for the highjacking:Dou:

Rich....no it had power brakes.....MANUAL steering, open rear, 8 track, short console, frt spoiler, hood tach, N-25, sport wheel gauges, rallye ride, red rocker spripe. Was quite a bear to drive with the manual steering and 4 speed/clutch....at least it had AC to cool keep you cool.

    Bruce

p.s. I have the hand written special order sheet for the car......

Used to happen all the time when we first started the LSPBC. I think at one time there were 10-12 GSX's in the club. Now it's mostly Turbo cars.
