Hey Joe! What years were you at GM?

My dad graduated from GMI in '55 and was a tool and die engineer at Fisher Body in Trenton until the mid '60's, then went to a jobber.

Dad designed all the dies that stamped out the windshield and backlight mouldings for every GM car in the late 50's to late 60's... including the side spears on the 57 Chevy and the Rivs and all the A-bodies.

Self employed with 2 businesses, always looking for "more".:TU:

I've owned an internet shopping business for almost 7 years.:TU:

    I've been a Financial Consultant for almost 5 years.:Smarty:
I refinance mortgages, sell life insurance (the RIGHT kind), and teach about investing for "retirement".:Smarty::bglasses:

By definition, technically, I could claim myself "retired" as of 4 years ago (at 32:TU: ). What is retirement? Making "enough" money to survive on, without having to WORK for an income.:Smarty:

I also work Part time at the local airport, as a luggage delivery service, just because I get BORED staying at HOME all the time!:TU::Smarty: (Airlines pay very well!:TU: Part time work, Full time pay!:Smarty: )

I try to "teach/encourage" people that there are BETTER ways to make money!

NOT Gambling! (You LOSE more than you MAKE! CHANCE is the factor!)
    NOT a JOB!:Dou:

The key to "success": Work LESS TIME, and make MORE MONEY!

Here's a "test" for you (I just made this up, but I think I'll start using it!:TU: ):

    Would you RATHER work:

    A) 1,920 HOURS and make $15,360
    B) 52 HOURS and make $50,000
    C) 1,972 HOURS and make $65,360
    D) 2,024 HOURS and make $115,360

Now, WHICH one ARE you in?

    A) is a 40 HOUR/WEEK JOB, that pays $8.00/HOUR

    B) is a Part Time "Opportunity" (Home parties, like Amway, Tupperware, whatever works for YOU.:Do No: ), working ONE HOUR/WEEK, making $1,000/WEEK (it IS possible, IF you do it RIGHT!:Smarty::TU: ) It's better to TRY, than to QUIT!:Smarty: That's why MOST people FAIL! They "give up" TOO SOON!:Smarty:

    C) is BOTH, a 40 HOUR "JOB", AND a PART TIME "OPPORTUNITY"

Realistically, would YOU "KEEP" your "JOB", IF you were making MORE working PART TIME?:Dou:

In MY situation, I have "D", 2 Part Time "Opportunities", and 1 Part Time "Job".:Smarty:

There is NO SUCH THING as "JOB SECURITY"! (unless you work for FORD!:eek2::laugh: )

FIND an "Opportunity" and MAKE IT WORK, FOR YOU!:TU:

currently im a sophmore at the university of cincinnati in mechanical engineering. right now im in the co-op program where part of our degree is getting a job. sooo, ive been working for OPW-FC as a design engineer. You may not know of use be we are the world leading company of fueling components. I garrentee that everyone has used one of our nozzles to put gas in your car. basically we make everything it takes to get gas from the storage tank to your car. next time you guys fill up your buick, take a look at the name on on the nozzle, good chance its one of ours. What have I done??? I recently designed a hose ball swivel. It was my first project, but I have a patent pending on it and will be in production starting this monday. not bad for only being 20???
