Mr Obvious Perhaps I have the most obvious one of all. o No: My name is Pat. If you need a part that I happen to have, I'll send it to you in exchange for money.   So I figured this was a good name for me!
mine doesn't really make much sense. Where did the Crazy Jack come from? A cartoon called mad Jack the Pirate, short lived but I loved it. So it's a play on that. The csa stands for Canadian Standard Approved.
Well I am not very proud of my username and would like to change it some year. In the past I have owner 4 Buicks with 2 being GSs. Never did get a 455 car though and the next thing you know, life happened!!! I'm just waiting for the day when there will be some time and money in my life for another Buick.......... My ideal car would be a 70 X clone! Why a clone you say and not the real thing?? Cause I'd need my head looked at for spanking a numbers matching car the way I could hammer on a clone! To me, the value is in the driving!!! Ken :3gears:
Just decided to associate myself with one of the Pugs I've had the honor of sharing life with. Anyone who has one knows what they do to the deck door glass, especially if you are on the other side of it! *Snort*, get out the window cleaning apparatus and squeegee! Run-a-Muck's Golda My Ear on paper, but always Skwee-G to her friends.
Kingfish During my apprentice locomotive machinist days I was tagged with this nickname by the journeyman I was assigned to. Typical railroad stuff. Character from the Amos-n-Andy 40's radio show. To this day (25 years later) it has stuck. Interesting thread... George

Well, I was kind of a loner growing up and did not have many friends and we moved into a new house when I was 13. There was a group of kids that would gather every night at the end of the street and tell stories of their hot rods and street racing exploits and I had no idea of what thy were discussing. So I set out to learn everything I could, and have not stopped yet. I always wished that I had someone who would help me since my dad was not extremely supportive of my need for speed even though he had "been there done that". In school we had Biology 101, Chemistery 101 , Algebra 101 but nothing to teach me how to be a speed junkie hence Speedfreaks101 These days if someone spends just a little time around me they will either get interested in fast cars or distance themselves from me. I have a one track mind and all I think of is cars. There is no gray aera. In fact the first thing that goes through my mind when I wake up is what can be done to make my car go faster. It is not a hobby it it is actually a lifstyle. Also I would like to encourage anyone with a kid that is intersed in fast cars to get involved with them and use it as a toll to be in their life. I have wanted my dad to build a car with me since I have been interested in cars but has always looked at it as a phase that I will someday grow out of. Now 14 years later I wish more than ever that I could have something that we did together before he is gone. I am sorry to get sappy on y'all, but it is important. Discalimer : I was not drinking when I wrote the above comment. Later, Bart
just my initials Easy to remember, just my initials, 20 years ago my my now first wife got me personalized plates "56 RED", always had people asking what it ment. They have been an many cars but never a red one or a '56, (year of my birth) keeps people guessing. Rick
Airy Cat I have a 1965 Wildcat convertible. So, when the top is down it's very airy, hence the name "Airy Cat".
In response to nailheadina67, the Riv is definately faster. My Firebird has the stock 326 in it. A real nice cruiser. The Riv's got the stock 430 and really hauls.
