    Here's my favorites:
    1. 66 GS Riviera with dual carbs

    3. 67 GS Riviera
    4. 71 GS Riviera (buckets)
    5. 65 GS Riviera with dual carbs
    6. 68 GS Riviera
    7. 69 GS Riviera

The 66 is the sporty looking one to me.
The 64 is the classy one to me.
The 71 is the most noticeable to me.
The 70 is the most under-rated to me.
The 65 is the most over-rated to me.

The 65 maybe overated by some, but I love it. It looks great with a set of ARW Hoopsters on it. The car looks like a custom from the factory. Just take the door handles away, lower it and put the rims on and you are done.

Here's my list. My dream Riv would be a 65 GS Convertible, removeable hardtop, 5 or 6 speed manual shift, fuel injected nailhead.

    65 GS
    63 or 64
    66 GS
    71 or 72
    82-85 Convertible
    Silver Arrow

  8. 1968/9 (steering and front suspension greatly improved over 2nd Gens)
    1966/7 (beautiful lines)
1971-73 (bold, brave design and unlike anything else in the industry, ever)
    1970 (agree - very underrated)
early 80's ragtops (Yeah, I know...)
1965 (also agree - overrated and worse, overpriced)

    1971 GS with Buckets
    1967 GS
    1965 GS
    1972 GS

The 65 GS cars are highly sought after and prices are high thats the main reason its #4

    So basically, I'd want a 67 for a 2nd gen, a 64 for a 1st gen, and a 71 or 72 for a 3rd gen.

64 65 66 70 71 72 in that order but im very partial to the 64 because of mine i accually think that the 64 was better looking with the head lights then the 65 with them hidden

    2. 64 Riviera
    3. 84-85 Riviera T-type
    4. 67 Riviera GS
    5. 78 Riviera LXXV
    6. 99 Riviera Silver Arrow
    7. 70 Riviera with short skirts in black

No I don't like boattails, they can be done nicely but I'm not a fan. I also really like the '65 tailsection over the '63-64 though the headlights and body sides are nicer on the '63-64. I need a new tailsection for my '64 so I'm probably going to replace it with a '65 piece. Lights in the bumpers just look better, as does the Tri-sheild trunk lock cover.

Again, I agree 100%. Don't get me wrong. I like a 65 but just don't understand why they are the pick of the litter for most people.
