Any one of the '98 S-10's my company owns.

The first time I drove one, it re-afirmed my decision to buy a Ford Ranger.

The owner asked why I was using my own truck to visit customer's?
I just prefer to is all I told him.

I would have to nominate the '89 Ford Probe that my daughter 'had to have' (although it did have good brakes)!

1984 Ford Mustang (not the hatchback style), Was white but looked like a Dalmation with all the rust spots:laugh: . Ran good but what made it scary was that the right rear lower trailing arm for the axle was held to the body with 10ga. speaker wire:eek2: :eek2: .... She was real fun to drive on the highway in a MI winter:Dou: :Dou: . Kindof funny tho... it never broke on me until I tried to sell it to a buddy, It fell during the test drive...lol. (Yes... I told him about it before he drove it)

73 Dodge Coronet with a 400 4 barrel. I drove this car for a few months in 1982 and it had so much rust, the window regulators fell out of place in two of the doors 'cause there wasn't any metal left! And it got about 5 miles to the gallon! And it was only 9 years old!! Brian

Dodge Mirada back in the early 80s was horrible. My highschool friend had it and we traveled much in it on the weekends. Had a fake convertible top and 50 hp (if that). Stayed broken most of the time and it was a low mileage car. Also, my worst experience with a vehicle personally was a 1999 Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel truck. At 24,000 miles it had been in the shop for 4 months total and had a completely worn out frontend and suspension. Front tires would last 4000 miles before wire was visible. Check engine light never turned off even when it was running correctly (rarely). Would top the 250 degree mark when pulling loads behind it. Chrysler dealership said to pull over and let it cool down. Can you beleive that was their cure for the heating problem?

Growing up - How can I say this and not be imbarrased... My mom owned a 73 AMC station wagon Green (pea colored) with the OMG - FAKE wood grain.... I tell you i was so imbarrassed to ride in that car. I told my mom I would walk to school she did not have to give me a ride.... We also had a gremlin... My worst car was a 79 Chevette....enough said....

Crappiest car I have ever driven was owned by an elderly man that was a friend of my high school auto shop teacher. It was a late 70s toyota pickup converted to run on propane. Old toyota trucks don't have much HP to begin with but man....... This thing was the slowest thing I have ever driven, didn't help much that the entire bed was full of bales of old newspapers. The interior smelled like old man, crap and cigarettes. The truck lived its entire life by the beach and had the most rust I have ever seen on a car in Ca. I always seem to get stuck with driving it back to the old guys house when we were done working on it. He was not amused when I drove up to his house one time with a paint respirator on.

Crappiest car I have ever owned. 91 Chevy S10. The only new car I have ever bought.

Within the 1st 15,000 miles the computer went out on it twice, it ate 3 catalyitic (sp) converters, developed some really scary sounding squeaks and rattles, the paint (black) started oxidizing and peeling on the hood, the door handles broke, the window and door seals fell off, the headliner sagged, etc, etc. The 1st year I owned it it spent 2 1/2 months in the shop for one thing or another.

Was about to let my dad assume the loan on it when I wrecked it. Did $5,900 in damage to a truck that cost $8,900 new. But, NOOO, they didn't total it. While I was waiting for it to come back from the body shop (2 months) my dad bought me out of the chevy.

I bought a 86 Toyota 4x4 with money I had saved up to customize the chevy and the proceeds from the sale. My dad took over the loan and I never looked back. The chevy now sits and rots in my dads side yard, he uses it for home depot runs once and a while. Has less then 100,000 on it and it is a total mess. It won't start for 2 days after it rains, no one can figure out why.

I still have the same toyota. 258,000 miles on it and it just keeps humming along.

Weve taken some pretty crappy cars in at the Ford dealer among them were an early 90s escort wagon (smelled so horrible) There was an old Isuzu Rodeo(i think) that thing sucked real bad. Other than that, I think Ive been fourtunate enough not to drive too many crappy cars. Even my '94 Geo isn't bad.

    Murphy Just Getting Started

The worst car I've owned wasn't actually a car. It was an '87 Isuzu Trooper II(SUV). I bought it '98, iy had 157,000 miles on it. It ran ok, but didn't like the wet weather. It would start most of the time, but would stall at every stop sign or light( actually every time you push the clutch down for any reason). It developed a few oil leaks. I would put 1 quart of oil in it for every 100 miles. Most of it came out the front seal. I changed it twice, but would never help. I did try to blow it up a few times when it would piss me off, but never did work. The 4 wheel drive worked great until you got 6 or 7 inches of snow. Then the auto hubs wouldn't work right. I would replace the upper control arm bushing every year too. I broke a few clutches in it also, although I think it was defective clutch disks. It had almost 285,000 miles on it.

I also had a Ford Escort. Not a bad car if you didn't mind taking all day to go anywhere.

    Cheap mWheels.

May the lashes on my back bleed... But in defense of the lowly Escort, I owned 2, '87's.
One bought new in '87 for the wife at the time.
And then one as a backlot, flat tire, $300.("It's all the cash I got on me... " :bglasses: ,Cheap transportation, Bought on a Sunday, throw a couple hundred into it and drive the hell out of it, winter beater.
Sold the dang thing for $700.00.

Don't see many around though anymore.
    Kinda like a Vega!
