Doesn't really matter, what ever's on the radio. What's really fun is watching the kid's faces get all twisty when playing the old tunes on the old AM radio in the car. Uh... dad...can you turn the radio off? My friends will be talking...
Classic Rock :bglasses: :bglasses: * Country when we're drinking ...... :eek2: :TU: * (makes the beer go down faster ) :Brow:
Love classic rock and new wave/punk from the late 70s into the 80s. Into blues alot also. Anyone ever listen to Joe Henry, Cowboy Junkies or Paul Kelly?
Just about everything. Some of my favorites: Phil Keaggy Soundgarden Stevie Ray Aaron Copeland The Police Rachmaninov John Mellencamp Counting Crows Chick Corea Acoustic band John Coltrane The Who Holst King's X Rick Elias Rush Steely Dan Train U2
Metallica for sure. Guns and Roses is an old favorite. Just ask Alan about those all night road trips to BG. He would sleep and I would listen to GnR loud enough to keep me awake:grin:
80's Rock, anything else just doesn't cut it. Cant stand those ricers, whose stereos have more power, and make more noise than their car. At least it drowns out the tin can exhaust though.
Aside from Bruce, Barry Manilow, Barbara Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Englebert Humperdink, BJ Thomas, The Carpenters, Yanni, Enya, Andy Gibb, Julio Iglesias, Lionel Richie, Anything on while in the dentist's chair, Cher, Neil Diamond, Kenny G, Jim Nabors, Pat Boone, Tom Jones, etc, etc Then again I'm from Massachusetts and if I wanna gt married someday, with the laws they are passing up here, one of these artists songs will probably be the state song ou: :Brow:

I like a very wide range of music to much to list bands, so I'll just list some types I like. Oldies, Classic rock, 80's Hardcore/Skate/Surf Punk, Shoegazor, Blues, Blue Grass, Indie. All depends on what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm in The Buick I usually listen to Oldies, Classic or Big Block. Not much of a fan of rap, top 40, Metal, or commercial "Alternative" rock.
Venom as well as other European and American bands that had Venom as an influence Most 80's NWOBHM, Other 80's Dark Metal Has Anyone checked out PROBOT, a great concept Long Live The KING (Diamond that is) Then for diversity - Female Celtic singers like Mary Black and Enya Here's one for Jim Weise - this band is out of Minneapolis http://www.epicureanmetal.com/angelbio.htm check out this young band from Phoenix www.andalusha.com Dave

I listen to anything but country.....willingly. I really like jazz, old and new styles. Been playing and listening for 10 years, and love every minute of it. There's a new radio station called Red - they play lots of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy (Rat Pack), show tunes, and some more modern fun music. I'm a big fan of house, techno, dance, hiphop, R&B, popular genre stuff. Like I said, I will listen to most anything. Dare I say.....I like classical too.
Classical Rocks! Horns and strings and things. Kuntry Sucks A fat one. I'm all for country livin' but just don't get the twanginess of country music and I love most any guitar music. I typically have zero in common with the way country music fans think and don't associate myself with the narrow mindedness.
slayer #1 other than that older metallica, older sepultura and classic rock (except the doors and pink floyd, in my eyes they are the most over played garbage ever)
you shouldnt limit yourself to heavy rock, but you should explore where the roots of heavy metal come from. mahler, wagner, ect. tell me "the ride of the valkyries" isnt heavy!
I listen to everything. As a kid growing up in the disco era, that was just a part of life back then. The classic rock got boring, so I later got heavily into Country............ when I realized it was a sickness, I switched to heavy metal.............when I became less angry, I got tired of that........I had no choice, since Mrs. Nailhead won't let me listen to it anymore. She can't handle that stuff. Since joining the cruising scene, I have really taken a liking to 50's and 60's. I still like classic rock, and I think that's where I will stay for a while. I still crank up Metallica sometimes when it's playing, though. The new stuff just doesn't do it for me, never will. :bglasses:
