Cool here in SW Florida this AM. 62 Degrees. I had to put on socks instead of wandering around barefoot. The weathergal says that it will be 85 today. That's my kind of winter!

    Hello Jim
Its minus 20 here in Sioux Falls today, with lots of snow and more expected tomorrow. The wind chill brings the temp down to below minus 30. I still have kids turning up to my shop classes in shorts, tee shirt and flip flops, (they change into shop approved clothes when they get here), however -----!
You can send the warmer temperatures our way!
    Thanks
    John

As is usual for this time of year, Mr. Lore feels it appropriate to taunt those of us who choose to live in cooler, more northern climes.:laugh:

It was only about -15 F in Winnipeg today, with a bright sunny sky, and little wind. Almost had to wear a tuque. :bla: Now where did my winter parkas go......:idea2:

Shoveling snow is a great way to stay warm in cooler weather. :pp

    I hear ya..

Been walking back and forth from the shop to the house/cars and made a few parts runs today..

-22 here this morning, high was about 0 under bright sunshine, -13 right now.

I am getting used to it, didn't even bother with the jacket on latest trip in from the shop to the house..

    It's a state of mind..

Hey ED, you wearing a jacket yet?

I was going to complain about it being 36 here, but that's still a heat wave compared to -22! :eek2:

it is 22*F and it is snowing, but not like the blizzard in Philadelphia, Pa. where the lions & eagles are attempting to play football.

I will say thisI HATE THE COLD why couldn't we have 70s and snow???????

We went from a forecasted "dusting to an inch" to eight inches in about 6 hours. Tomorrow morning more is on the way. :Dou:

    For Alabama,
This time of year, blue sky means COLD !!
The sky's been clear for three days and nights ,
And it's been c COLD!!! (cold for Alabama),
I had to leave the kitchen faucet dripping, else it would freeze.
And, I had to wear a couple of extra layers of clothes at work
It's been 27*degF each day this week when I crank the truck in the morning.

That's not cold.:laugh: At 27 F, Canadians think about changing from a fall jacket to a winter one. :TU:

Yesterday morning just west of White River, Ontario, the temperature was a balmy -36 F. My rig does have a great heater though. :) I wonder how the southerners would handle those temps?? :Brow::Brow:
