I got sniped on it at last minute  , This one was just a spring version though. The real tec 9 is my all time favorite gun and the only airsoft ones ive found are either $300 plus aeg's or spring powerd.....would make a cool wall hanger though.

Dale Earnhart memorbilia. I got into it about 14 years back and really had fun looking. I also loved Star Wars as a kid, so I started with the old stuff I had kept from my childhood, then about 11 years back started beating the bushes for items to add to it. Of course, these 2 areas I collected in, later were killed by the invention of Ebay!! Probably not worth half the $ I spent back then. Old American made car audio amplifiers are my latest addition to the lineup. I have many monsters from the late 80's and early 90's.

Antique brass blade electric fans and tube type radios. I've got some fans from the early 1900s that work just as well as the day they were made. They didn't figure out how to make them cheap, shoddy, and expendable until the 1930s or so. But the tube type radios from the 1930s are really excellent radios, in general, and look like expensive pieces of furniture in a lot of cases. I'm always buying these fans and radios, but the restoration side of the equation has sort of taken a back seat to the Rivs for now. The wife seems to look on the accumulation with a bit of disfavor!

    Jarrod,

I don't have a huge collection. I do have a couple of coins and knives. Standups and many diecasts small and large. Several other odds and ends, enough to cost 2 or 3 grand back in the day, but not worth half that now. Many people took advant. of his death and listed thousands of items on Ebay that week after the deathly Daytona race, but I was not one of them. I knew the bottom would fall out of the prices because it always does in that circum. but just didn't want to make money from a death. I have bought a few items from ebay since and sold a couple of vehicles on it. I probably will not add on to the collection. I don't have the Morgans you are hunting for. I do have a friend that has half of his home full of #3 collectibles and probably has what you are looking for, but he is in the reserves and unfortunately is in Iraqi territory!

    I collect the following things:

    - Old plastic model car kits (revell, amt, etc..)

    - Old 1/24 scale slot cars

    - Vintage Japanese Motorcycles (I have about 7 right now)

    - My father tells me I manage to collect dead cars I'll never do anything with and and says that they have started a collection of their own...dust.

Out of all the things I like to collect the japanese motorcycles are probably the most fun. One thing I have discovered is that while cars in barn stories can still happen they ae getting less frequent because musclacars are getting more popular by the second and cars are really large items that are kinda hard to hide. Motorcycles on the other hand can be stored just about anywhere for just about any period of time and even in someone's house (a friend of mine just bought a vespa rally 200 that had 300 miles on it and the woman who owned it kept it in her living room). Plus you can rebuild an entire bike in the same amount of time it would take you to pull the rear end from you car, rebuild it yourself, and install it.

i like to be able to use the cameras i have picked up, so my collection isnt quite that big. but that is really cool. the old video cameras especialy remind me of holidays at my grandmas house when my uncles would break out the movie camera and harrass everybody. everybody but us kids, of course who couldnt get enough "face time" . do you have any film for them?:TU:

to Floydsbuick, i LIKE that collection. you have cars that actually look like cars, not like the new hot wheels and matchboxes that are cartoon charicature fantasy. i used to have quite a collection of cars when i was a kid, but i have a little brother who managed to trash most of them or loose them. havent forgiven him for that. so maybe your collection has more value than you think.

    Antique books.

I've got at least a few thousand books and several hundred of them could be classified as antiques. Some of them are even valuable. :)
