What do you miss about the old board?

    I have to agree, this is a much better software version. I have no big complaints, though some of the hacks that Mike installed on the old version would be nice to have here too. I'm sure we'll see some of them eventually.

    Many web browsers will now "tab," and some software will add the function to Internet Explorer (but don't do it, IE is like swiss cheese).

    You'll have one browser window open. At the top of the page will be the tabs - each tab is another page - just click on the tab to view it. Of course, you have to open pages in tabs first.

    Mozilla Firefox is a great browser, and less vulnerable than IE.

    Basically, right-click a link and choose "open in new tab." Holding Ctrl when you click a link will also do this, or you can set it up to open links in tabs when you click them with the middle mouse button. Ctrl+T will open a new blank tab.

    When I view new posts, I open all the ones I want to read in tabs. When I'm done with this, I mark forums read, then start reading the pages I opened in tabs.
