    70 and 67's then 72 are the best:cool:
    I would like to see a 66 with a 67 front as I like the 66 rear better.:D

Off the cuff of this thread, I would like to a thread where different year GS's are Photo Shopped with mixed fronts and backs..

Yes, and the other thing that caught my attention is where the stripe comes off the spoiler. Where it curves around and begins go forward the radius should be smooth. The radius on Vickie's X seems much sharper than the originals. Or, were the '71-72 stripes done with different paint masks?

Please read all my posts about Vickie’s GSX. I enjoyed her car very much and she was a joy to talk to. My comments about the paint job were only meant as a point of information in response to other comments. There was no intention to pick her car apart. One of my best Buick friends has a ‘71 Coronet gold X that’s a beautifully done clone and it’s one of my favorite cars.

When I started this post. All I wanted to do was share a magazine article I had of a very nice ladies GSX that I met at the GS Nationals in the mid 80's. I parked next to her several years at the Nationals. I had forgotten that it was repainted due to damage from ambient air pollution fall out. Coal fired boiler if I remember correctly now. Thanks for pointing out the issues with the stripes. Always nice to get corrective criticism (not sure that is the correct term in this case). Maybe it should be termed an education. When it was repainted in the 80's. No one had any idea of it's value in the future. Sort of like me when I cut up my inner fenders to install a set of hooker headers. If we only knew back then what we know now. Not sure I would want to. LOL

Thanks for posting Zach. I recall seeing her X and yours. Good to hear it’s still with her family.
