I know, I thought the same thing. New turbo, MSD, down pipes and exhaust, intercooler and M/T's in the rear.....and 14.53 best.

I'd hate to see the embarrasing run it would have made prior to the "upgrades".

I was thinking easy low 13's high 12's. At least. Must have been real dogs they used for cars. Those 85 heads must be junk. :Do No:

They mentioned that stock it would push 9# of boost after the mods they were looking at around 12#. I had a stock 85 at 5000' it would run high 15s with no slicks and a one legged wonder. They needed to step up on the boost! No reason that they couldn't have been in the high 12s. But then maybe they couldn't drive.
    Thanks Rick

the two brothers (foreman) are freaking retards. they used to be on a show a few months ago called "super2nr tv" on spike. they are airheads. you think they were bad now, you shoulda saw how they talked/acted on their own show. they had no idea what they were talking about...theyd just run around going " yo yo yo yo dawg, yo dat is mad tyte yo for shizzle." and that was about the extent of it all. and yes, i was very diaspointed that they only got high 14's out of those. if they woulda done the job right it woulda been much better

Those two guys irritate me to no end. How do you host a car show when you dont know jack #$%@ about cars?
I caught some of there tuner show they hosted and all they seem to do is repeat stuff that has been said on other car shows like horsepower tv, popular hotrodding, etc.
The history channel musta went all out to find these guys to host

Other than that it wasnt a bad show, just wish they had more knowledgeable gearheads on . These guys need to stick with honda's and never soil a buick again.

I am however , glad they didnt end up with spinning wheel covers, spoilers, Type-R stickers or some form of Ricer transmission. And they never mentioned adding a dvd player and lcd screen in the dash, incredible

Glad I didn't watch it. Those two Slim Shady clones irratate me to no end! I remember that Super2nr TV show. 'Nuff said. I know that new 86-7 IC cars could boost 12-14 PSI stock. Not sure for the 85 hot air car? Can't believe that they didn't start with the superior 86-7 cars! That show and pitiful times should get all Turbo Regals lots of attempted runs!

    lmao :TU:

  9. I had to turn it off after a while since everyone just came across as stupid. I was really afraid they were going to be chopping and hacking at the cars to remove stuff, I noticed any original part they removed was treated pretty carefully.

Due to the way they act and how it looks like it's all cue carded up, I'm starting to think that their whole "ricer" image is fake and that they're being forced to talk like idiots because they're "newbies" and are easily manipulated by the corporate bigwigs.

    One of their project cars:

Before you dismiss it as "just another ricer", think again. That thing car is packing 700hp. :3gears:

It does look like they know what they're doing and none of their project cars on their site are "riced" out with huge ugly rims, body kits and nasty graphics. They also worked on this and that earns them a few in my book.

Ah the history wasn't to bad for turbo buicks. I was IMBRASSED 14.53. I have a 87 GN The first thing I did was chip then rewiring the fuel system. They put all that money and time and never touched the or looked at 20year old fuel system. Why did they have duttwleer(how ever you spell it)be the head Mechanic.
