How do I go about getting this rectified??

This auction is using pictures from the auction I had that ended back on June 11.

Look at my completed listing here and see if you can figure out the similarities....

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

    same pics

Contact ebay fraud department thoughs are your pics and I bet his breather does not look that good as I know how much work whent into redoing your old one and I also know not many people can to as good a job as Jarrod (think thats his name) on the fiberglass parts.

P.S. I need to know Jarrods tag name I want to talk to him and see if he per chance he has a extra 72 fiberglass parts I have the metal parts of the breather. if not maybe he know someone with a complete 1972 ram air breather they would part with.

You should look at the guy's feedback. He's had 4 negatives in the last 6 months, and 2 in the last month. Reading thru them you can see he has a problem shipping things out on time, if at all.

His history shows he's changed his eBay i.d. 4 times in the last three years. I wonder why he needed to do that? I've had my i.d. since 1998 and have NEVER needed to change it!

    Dean,

I submitted a complaint to eBay and will hopefully hear back over the next couple of days....I'm still having a difficult time believing someone would actually use not ONLY the pictures but the listing title AND description!!!

Looks like I'll have to put a disclaimer in my listings from now on regarding use of my listing content, huh? :af:

I wonder what it is the seller is actually going to send (if at all) to the winning bidder?? I know I'd be a little miffed if what arrived at my door in NO way resembled what I had bid on...

There are some real scumbags out there in the world. My brother sells Skidloaders on Ebay and every once in a while someone will post his pics he took from right in front of his house that they steal from his auctions on Ebay.Too bad that the scum have to try to steal from people and cannot function in a normal way in society.Usually the people who do this are from out of the US,see alot of them from Canada,no offense to Ohnest Canadians but it is a easy place to do this from.Hopefully no one will get ripped as most people are catching on to the scams(I hope anyway)

He didn't copy the pics, he took them!

He must not be very computer savvy - if you look close you can tell he took a digital picture of your picture on his screen! Do you see the mouse finger and how out of focus they are? What an idiot! Let us know what ebay says, Brett.

PS - Congratulations on the auction - $710!! :TU:

Brett- Ebay should pull his auction. Text theft and picture theft are clear violations of Ebay policy. I had a description of mine used in someone else's auction.

What an idiot. I'm going to send the bidders an email to let them know that they are dealing with a conartist. The more people that do it, the better chance they believe it. So anyone that does it will help out a Buick guy. If they don't listen then they will find out the hard way.

I see he added a new picture today...
Is that one from another auction, or does he really have an aircleaner?

I doubt that he's got an actual air cleaner. The air cleaner in the "new" picture is painted in gloss paint. The other pictures are more semi-gloss.

its obvious its two different air cleaners . look at the 455 decals , one has a tri shield that has like a black surround , and the other looks chromish appearance . :Dou:
