Im trying to resist calling him and breaking his $%^& just for giggles http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3202696942.html
I think I have a new best Friend. Its hard to believe he thinks no one will want to know why it has a salvage title.
And why all caps????o No:... So I am just supposed to hand you $2500 just because you said this is all I know about the car?
Someone should take him up on the 2 hour test drive he talks about so you can get a feel how everything works....:TU:
Yes and while on the 2 hour test drive you can stop and look at other cars that might upset him a little
... on the other hand, many of us who have sold cars (or anything else) on CL know exactly where his frustration is coming from  Still, though, he should keep his ranting and ignorance to himself... it's his own fault that I called him
The seller's name is Joe and he likes to shout: Click here :Comp: In this Craigslist advertisement he's only using caps when he tells you to Google where he's located: Click here :Comp: Joe also has a nice Honda with a blown crank shaft seal for sale: Click here :Comp:
I'M SELLIN' THIS FREAKIN' BEEMER OVER HERE! WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT TOUGH GUY? YOU GOT MY MONEY OR WHAT? DON'T BE WASTIN' MY TIME WITH QUESTIONS! JUST BRING THE MONEY! I want to call and ask where he is located.
I'm going to phone him and tell him that I Googled his location with Google maps :TU: Next I will ask him if the distance across the ocean is in nautical miles, and if he has any idea how to convert them into KM. And also if he knows how much US$ 2,500 is in Euros
I made a *67 call so he won't see my number and ripped him a new one on his answering machine. Told him a salvage car with 165,000 miles is only worth $500 and I wouldn't give him a dime more for that POS. BTW, I gave him Jasons # to call back. OH SNAP !!!
Amen. The last item I listed on Craigslist, a rebuilt T5 trans for $350, drew dozens of calls from people who had absolutely no intention of buying it. And probably had no money to buy it with. Relisted it for $300 with the same civil wording after the first ad expired, and got calls from many of the same people asking the same or similar questions. Relisted for $250 after another month had passed, and stated in the ad "if you can buy a rebuilt T5 from a V8 car for less than $250, go buy it and don't waste my f'n time". Three days later a guy drove 70 miles and took it home. I'll never sell on Craigslist again. And I don't blame the guy with the BMW for being frustrated if he has had to endure what I did.
I do collision repair on Bimmers for a living and I would be willing to bet that noise in the rear is a hell of a lot more than a bushing.
That might be true but as Bad Boattail pointed out he has several ads on Craig's List. Do like you do and don't use it any more but if you use it over and over again, make your money and don't whine about it. No body's holding a gun to his head.
