The wheels were really cheap, I think I paid $675 for all 4 and the tires I got a deal with my friend out here in Northern Cali, but you would probably only spend around $1500 for wheels and tires and they are some bad azz looking wheels.

I think you are right but I plan on using my narrowed rear end to get the deep dish look on the wheels so I will have to notch or move the frame rails in. I will definitely be going with 335- 35's though. It is my winter project so I will post some pictures when its all done.

I've looked at the 17" Buick rallys and they do look flat awesome. Id go that way in a heartbeat, except they are BIG $$$$$:eek2:

Those wheels do look fantastic! I want to get those for my 67 Riviera. What size are they 17x?... And do you think they would accept my stock riv center caps (finned type) or the 71 style if need be?... -Mike G

I just saw you posted the size on the "17x8" thread. So just the center cap question...

While i am still not a big fan of 20" wheels, joe that car looks incredible. Very tastefully done. Love the color combo and stripe only on the hood.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I am very happy with the results so far and I hope a lot more Buicks try the pro touring look because our cars really look good this way.
I'll try and add more pics soon. I still need to get the air bag suspension installed so I can get the front and back to the desired height.

I"m considering purchasing Summit Racing Legend 5 Series chrome wheels when they go on sale again. Current price is $199.95. I"m leaning toward 18"x9.5" front and rear with a back spacing 0f 5.25". Wheels also available in 5.75", 6.00" and 6.75" back spacing. Will I get away with running these wheels with a 5.25" back spacing on my 71 GS, both front and rear w/o issue? What size tires would be suggested? I want to run as wide a tire as possible.
The same wheel is also is available in 17"x9".

Sorry Ken I almost forgot about this thread. I think you should be fine all the way around if you stick with the 18.

Here's another really nice car in my area that went pro touring with 18, 20 staggered wheels.
