As to the Bear, Buick, and Pizza comment - In some (or perhaps all) of the US national parks it is illegal to leave any food in a parked car. An adult bear is capable of ripping a door off the car to get at what smells like food. Back to the Buick - In Massachusetts it is illegal to have an open bottle of booze in a car. the owner would have to get rid of any open containers before driving. I have been in a couple of higher-end restaurants in that state that would put a partially used bottle of wine in a HD plastic bag, then with a special device, heat the open end and seal it. You would have to tear or cut the bag to get it open. I thought it was a great idea.
