There are parts out there just have to work with right ones .nothing is bolt on and go .do more research
Bolt on a nitrous kit and lift the front tires! These engines make power and stay reliable. Find a spare set of heads and have them ported then oversized valves, add nitrous and make more power than your trans and rear can handle.
You definitely are not reading the right posts here on v8buick. Many crazy fast cars here and the info to build one. Port heads with big valves/shave heads .030 put in Ta 212cam 2800 stall and 3.73 gears with magna flow dual exhaust and headers. Tune carb and distributor or get msd distributer. This will get you one quick car.
you far as TA Selling parts, I'm a little suprised they do not try to sell their parts in through Jegs and/or Summit racing to try and boost sales.
TA's name is big enough they don't need to do that. It'd just be an extra middle-man anyway which would jack up the prices. TA's name has become pretty much the de-facto synonym for Buick performance. Gary
First off thank you TA for deciding to make heads and intake for the 350! I think that you will sell a lot more 350 parts once these heads are available! Because I already have a bunch on engines that are together I am interested to know if the heads will be in the 53-58 cc range? Also are you guys planning to make this a closed or open style head?
I spoke to Sherri last Friday, and she said they are very very close within the the next 30 to 60 days without question, I hope so cuz I got the bungs, elbow, and fuel rails ...just need something to mount them too
If you want to get the intake ASAP then leave a deposit and you will get your intake in the first batch no matter what. That is what I did for the intake and heads, very exciting!
Like Hugger says above the intakes are REALLY close to being on the market, at an estimated 1 to 2 months. The heads will be a little longer off, last I called they were not able to give me an estimated date. They are designing them currently and working on getting them cast. Mike Jr was talking to me the other day about building another 350 to test the new products on! I requested that he let me know about what the head CC will be so that I can order pistons for a new engine I am doing for the alum heads so hopefully soon we will have that info to help us get ready for their release. I wanted to be sure I got the parts ASAP so I made my deposits.
Nice. Talk about crisp and precise sand casting. If the inner contour matches the outer, it going to be a big hit just like SP1. Devon
