Hi Im a 20 year old guy living i Sweden. My Buick is a 1963 skylark 2-door Hardtop wich i bought when i was nineteen. My plans for the car is first to get it on the road again,it hasnt been driven since 2001 when the engine and gearbox were taken out. Its been 20 owners on the car before me so there are alot of personal mods on it from each and every owner Heres a list over the most important things that need to be fixed before i can drive the car. The front fenders need som rust fixed Mount the inner fenders Front fenders and hood need some paint New windshield New electric system (wireing harness?) in the whole car The engine and the gearbox has to be mounted but i havent decided if im gonna go for the Buick 300" i bought or if im gonna try to find a 215" wich was mounted there originally.I think im chosing the 215" if i find one. The interior has to be mounted New exhaust system made in rustfree steel maybe ill do the last ca 40 inches in copper for the sound  New tires Flamethrowers Vinyl decals on the hood 215" 200 HP And of course the thing that takes most of the time, mount all the small parts and fine adjustments Ive got some work ahead  By the way,im sorry for my bad english. If you guys dont understand what i mean please tell me so that I know. Heres some pics of the car: And the 300" V8 -64 with gearbox:

Come on guys: The language on this board is English. I don't think it's really polite to post in a foreign language. It's not a problem for me to understand what you're typing, but think about all the other board members reading this post. When I reply to a post of a fellow Dutch board member, I always do this in English. If you want to chat in your own language: use the PM function :TU:
Welcome I looks as if you have a good base to work from. It will be a challage, I am sure parts will be even harder to find over there then over here, so do not let that get you down, you will find them It is a fun car to drive, and will have enough power to get you where you need to go. It is nice to see another 63 Skylark Take care and good luck
I have actually never been to Power meet at Vesters (I have been to Power meet in Sundsvall.), but we are talking about filling up the Electra and go, down there this year :3gears: .It would have been fun with a little Buick V8 meeting. But its so big, we should probably not find each other. :Brow:
Enough talkin about Power big meet in my thread now :Smarty: Got some pics on some work i got done today, its parts for the front fender. Made them out of 1mm (sheat?) steel/metal and TIG welded them together one with good result and the other one not so good, its hard to copy the first piece you do,but itll do for now
The fenders will be "tinned" to after the welding. I dont know what its called in english but you take tin or maybe you say lead and heat it up and puts a coat of it on the steel.
Looking good, Vince :TU: Maybe we should all buy one of those modern GSM phones :Brow: ? I saw one in a shop the other day, they're very small
Yeah I'd like to get together and have a few cold ones with the buick mob and lie about this and that
