Ebling, FWIW, as much fun as 4-speeds are to drive, an automatic will consistently beat them. What you lose through the torque converter, is easily made up by the consistent shifts, and easier launch....Dan
Looks like a dealer type from IL got it. He has less than stellar feedback however, so my bet is we haven't seen the last of this car on E-bay. The reserve was somewhere between 15K and 19K, but no way to tell. I bet it's relisted within a couple weeks. Brian
John, You win an all expenses paid trip to the Mopar Nationals! ou: Oh, man! What did you do to your avatar????????? o No:
I am sorry for that one but I really do like that Suncoupe . The 73 Suncoupe in my avatar is the Stage 1 triple whits one that was on ebay . I would love to have it parked next to my 72 Stage 1 Suncoupe . I just don't have the scratch right now . I try to change my avatar every once in a while .
A good auto Stage-1 will take a 4-spd's lunch all day. If I owned one for those prices I would sell it and buy 2 more auto's. As for the 100 grand resto on the convert I think you could do it for a lot cheaper if you do most of your own work and just sub out the hard stuff like welding and paint.
