I'm not punk-ish. The person who yelled "something obscene" was. I'm metal. That means, if I'm over 30 I could have worn boots with heels, spandex, dangling earings, etc., and that still wouldn't mean anything gender-wise. If I were goth I could have worn stockings, skirts, and lipstick and it wouldn't say anything, lol.
truzi and i have both been posting on this site for quite some time. and i recall an admittion to a gender on truzi's part. but i am sure there is some mystery affoot here to be explored. why not just do a search? read every post truzi has posted that is still in the record, and i bet you will get all the clues you need. :Brow: on the other hand, it never occured to me that there would be SO many women on this board, odd to think that the face behind the poster's name may be fairer than i thought. i always pictured a bunch of grease-smudged, beer swillin' good old boys. :3gears: :shock:

When I had my hair grown out in college, I had a roommate (a girl) who wanted to do that to my hair but I declined. My hair was wavey enough as it was and I wish it were straighter! Since those days at Toledo I've had to cut it, being an engineer has forced me to mellow out my general appearance somewhat, but I'm still a hardcore metalhead on the weekends. I just don't look it as much!
Yah, I think we certainly have bigger things to worry about than some woman not wearing any underwear in a restaurant. But then, maybe we should launch an investigation to see if that incident was directly related to the bombings in London.
If we did worry about "more important things" it would occure to us that war, famine, disease,AIDS, poverty, etc., are all part of the same problem.

Don't ask me to spin you golden thread. damnit. damnit, i should know what this is but it's been so long since i was reading children's mythology compendiums (30yrs? :jd: ) i don't think i'm going to come up with it. i know sleeping beauty/aurora involved a spindle but i don't think there was any golden thread involved in that one.
