Just yesterday, I was picking up our new truck that was getting a salt spreader installed in it.. I parked in the lot out front next to the truck. The slackjaw came out and was teaching us how to work the stupid spreader...then he says, "Is that your Olds?" I said, no it's a Buick, and yes it's mine." "Cool! I've got a 71 Grand Prix at home!" I was like, um, I would imagine you'd know the difference between an Olds and a Buick. (I didn't say that, but it was running through my mind.)
OK, I come out of church and a guy stops me as we are getting into the Buick and says " 70 Skylark, right? Had the same one, same color, 350 w/2bl, etc." Asked if people ever confuse it with Chevelles and even asked if I saw Muscle Car Shootout! Doesn't currently have one, wanted to hear the engine "to bring back momories" Maybe he got a sign to get another Skylark?
