You're lucky. This one sounded like alot more fun on paper. When the plow finally came, the drift at the end of my driveway was 6 ft tall and soild as concrete. I shoveled over my head for an hour, then finally just blasted through it with my wifes van. Who said I didnt learn anything in high school? I can barely move this morning. PS - I realize this doenst have anything to do with nailheads, so here's a picture of one just to legitimize the discussion. It has a Quadrajet on it so you know it runs good.
OK, thats enough from the SoCal guys. Eventually it may rain or be cloudy out there, and then we're all gonna gang up on you!
No rain in sight, forecast for sunny and temps in the upper 60's to lower 70's this week. You could always move out here. If you get nostalgic for snow, it's less than an hour's drive into the mountains. Just have to be ready to sit in endless traffic, breathe smoggy air, pay astronomical prices for real estate, and worry about sitting under a freeway overpass when the next earthquake hits.
My sister lives in Del Mar, it's a great place - I've been up the coast as far as San Clemente, and inland to Palm Springs but thats all I know of CA. I loved every minute. My kids are actually going to lifeguard camp out there this year. Last time I was out I priced real estate. Turns out I cant afford to live anywhere close to where there's work. But I've vowed to buy a car every trip out - you guys have the most beautiful cars out there! I picked up the 73 Stage 1 in Tehachapi, and I keep it up on a lift just to show my buddies the frame and floors. Astounding!

Just got back from the Hamptons and all is well. The hiways were still full of packed down snow over ice which made for a fun ride. We took the L.I.E. to the Sagticos Pkwy to the Sunrise Hyw then out to Sag Harbor. We must have seen hundreds of heavy snow fighting trucks heading out to clean up the L.I.E. exits 57 thru 73. Heard it was horrible. Well I promissed some pictures so here we go............... My driveway, all 687' of it... ....still 687' ! Part of MoonRise Acres... Wonder what's sleepin' in there ? Where else ya gonna put it !? Honey, hand me my CrossBow Take me back to the city "Super-Hooptie"
Gee wiz Ken. You should have called I would have brought you my blower to use. You know you are just down the road a few miles.o No: It is a crying shame the cars have to be outside in that stuff. But we all have to make sacrifices to have toys, right? Don
hehheh yea I had to give one bay to the wife and the other is full of dismembered car parts. Thanks for that offer. I just didnt even think of it. grabbed a shovel and got busy. I dont mind my cars out in it. you shoulda seen the Lark before I cut n pasted it back together. It will never be a beauty. I cant wait for this stuff to melt so I can go to the Marks Cruise night again. I might set up a stand there for EdpLLC and watch all the cars roll in. We should look into a Buick night there. IF the snow ever melts
I'd go! I could get a couple buddies to bring the other two aw well,,,for some reason they're all runnning and roadable right now..I'm sure that'll change soon too!

Not all of California is sunshine and bikinis... That's my father, 5'-11" nothing buried under that snow but more snow... We shovel our roofs a couple times a winter Here's what it looks like in our other season (of two; winter and slightly warmer):
