As in Kenne-Bell STG3 ported heads? Think I read somewhere you mentioning that…correct? Cool!

You haven’t answered me when asked and maybe you’re not on here a lot. But unless you changed things, that is a California emissions car. Very rare. Hopefully you saved the gas tank. They were different, unique. Also the bodies floor just a head of the fuel tank is different.…among other things. Must have been a California dealer that sold the car new. Can also tell by one of your engine compartment pics, which obviously is what clued me in.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

My dad's '70 GS with a 470 ci, Stage 2 heads, 2" headers, Performer intake, and Holley 950HP carb. He wanted the Stage 2 heads because the exhaust ports are not exposed and therefore won't have the burnt paint look. These are old photos, and that radiator cap has been replaced with a correct NOS cap that fits that aluminum radiator.

Hey Guy - My 70 is a CA car with the weird fuel feed from the tank. What is unique in the engine bay?

    I forget the reason why.

I remember now. The non 1970 Ca. Emission car’s bottle and where it’s mounted is in the way for the charcoal canister set up.
