Re: Rebuild 8,2 in 68 LeSabre DUDE... This is getting crazy with the measurements. So you are measuring with a tape measure through the axle tube housing assembly hooking it on one flange then pulling it through the center of the tube where the axle shafts ar inserted and out the other end to the other flange where the other backing plate bolts up CORRECT. Please confirm and then will get that axle measurement. Jim
