I was just searching E bay and ran across this. That would be cool to have!

If I remember correctly, this is the same style manifold that McHam had on his red stage1 back at '85-86 Nats.He had the webers on it though. Its a rare piece.

I heard they only made two one McHam had and the other one Jim Bell had.

FYI: The Buick factory R&D manifolds that were floating around were made of cast iron and very heavy pieces. There was a tunnel ram and the Weber piece that were pictured in the 1970 issue of Hot Rod magazine. This M/T piece is definitely rare and something very few people are familiar with.

I just was told the Weber manifold and carb setup that was given to Jim Bell by Buick engineering was made of aluminum and it sounds like Buick contracted M/T to make some of them. The iron tunnel ram manifold was made to fit the large intake port heads that had the pushrod tubes running through the ports.

Thanks for the pics! I was thinking that would be really cool with one of the new EFI stack style systems where they look like webbers but are throttle bodies with injectors in them. They were all the rage at Good Guys this year. Here is a link

Seems odd to see webers and AC compressors...well, maybe not.

I noticed the 400 valve covers but was fixated on the AC compressor. LOL

Unfortunately, ebay deletes completed listings after a couple months.
