Good luck to your gal Lucas. My wife went through the same a couple years back and has had good followups. Caught it early.

Thanks Brian. She is doing as good as you can hope for, really tired after treatments and some serious sunburn like symptoms on the area, but hasn't been as bad as it could be. This is her last week of radiation coming up, then hopefully back to normal. They caught it early too, but did have to remove 3 tumors/cysts, although it sounds like they got it all taken out. Hope your wife continues to do well!

Just a couple I've found while cruising to and from places. The '68 Chevy is just down the street from my girlfriend's parents house, her dad is going to ask the guy if it's for sale for me next time he sees the guy outside. Been there forever I guess.....I see lots of done cars and nice ones driving around everyday I don't snap pics of.

That be a Pacer, not a Gremlin. Both ugly in a cute sort of way.

Just catching up on this thread; - some interesting stuff on here. Lucas, hope all goes well for your gal; must be very traumatic.
One thing that spiked my interest was that someone photographed a Goliath a couple of pages back, - those were interesting cars. They were the "cheap" line to a German company out of Bremen called Carl Borgward. Borgward made his fortune and his reputation selling trucks to the Wehrmacht and later to the Bundeswehr and in 1955 he got into cars in a big way with the introduction of the Borgward Isabella. Occasionally a guy still sees one or two in existence. They made a lovely coupe and even the regular sedan wasn't too hard to look at. I'm looking for a Borgward, my dad had a couple when I was growing up. They were imported into North America, and the rated favourably against a Mercedes 180. BMW (another reason I hate BMW) put them out of business in 1962 with a bad business deal. I guess one of Borgward's grandkids is trying to start the business up again, he made a deal with a Chinese manufacturer and is supposedly selling modern Borgward SUV over in Europe. Haven't seen one here, but might be tempted to look at it if it ever comes here.

This guy in the neighborhood usually has an old car parked by his garage but this time he had 3 of them......

Besides the '56 Buick and the '66 Olds Cutlass, there's a '67 Cutlass under the visqueen.

Went and checked out a few '67-72 Chevy trucks for a friend's daughter last night. White 3/4 ton is a factory A/C truck that works, and the blue one has a 455 Olds swapped in. While at one of the places, found out the guy has a '69 Riviera that I posted in the "leads" section for sale. Very nice car, here's a link to the thread: http://v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1969-riviera-16-900.348244/#post-2971608 . Also spotted some cool pickups on the drive including a quite rare '67 Mercury truck.......
