Roberta if it was my decision I would drive it,then again I "love" to drive. Not sure how the airports are on your end but around here you can lose lotsa time standing around wishing you were on the road.Would be nice to see you at what will probably be the last event for us this year. Newbie Jake here! Well I succesfully registered my 69 GS 350 this moring. I need to switch back to 14" rallyes (the 15"s are wasted), tune it up, change the oil and work out any kinks. I have owned this car (in one form or another) for over 13 years. Twice before I have attempted to bring it to E town and had mechanical problems. Exhaust manifold broke in two onceo No: I am going to tempt fate on Sunday and try to be there by 9- 9:30, I won't be racing of croase (the original 350 is a little to tired for that) but I will be thrilled to just drive her agian after three years of in and out of the garage and the occasional trip around the block. HEY Roberta! I resemble that remark! I'll have you know that last Sunday John Csordas Jr. and I took our cars to E-Town for the Detroit Muscle vs. Imports event and we were kickin' some rice burner asses for a few rounds. I didn't redlight all day and I even ran my best ET so far with the "little" motor...9.68 @ 139 mph. I'm gonna throw my mufflers on the car for Sat. and pull them back off for Sun. since E-Town has noise restrictions on Sat. Rick said he doesn't wanna go through the trouble of doing that. Sounds like he's already scared! :ball: Anyway, I wish you were coming east but we'll let you know the results. See Ya, Doug.
