    No Nitrous????

Pump gas is PUMP GAS! If you can drive it to any pump and race it with pump gas whether you blown, sprayed, or turbo IT'S ALL LEGIT! You can't rule out a legitimate street combo because you don't like it, can't afford it, can't keep up, or whatever "it". I drove mine to the track and sprayed it on pump gas. On my old combo, I ran a 2004r W/ non lock-up 9", pump gas, nitrous, 3.73. Never ran a drop of race gas and could cruise on I-95 at 70+ under 3000. It was a 10 sec street car w/ tags and insurance at 3550lbs. If you can say 11 to 1 comp is a legit pump gas then it isn't no different than 10 or 9 to 1 comp with a power adder. If you need help going 10's with a power adder, you let me know. It's the best way to do it and keep street manners and driveability.

I know this didn't post for some reason but I caught it when it popped up in my e-mail. BUSTED! Don't worry, its all good. I'm just trying to keep you all in line. :TU:

    Be nice boys!

Hey we are all here to have fun. I am the starter of the thread and I did actually mean pump gas only but I am pleased to hear from those of you who use power adders also. My goal when I built my car was to run in the tens on pump gas only. Yes it is a full race car but it does weigh 3671 with me in it. That is as heavy as any street car. If it still had windshield wipers, it would be steetable. And it is still not too radical to drive on the street. Full auto valve body, 3.73 gears etc. Matter of fact it ran in the 10's with 3.42 grars. It is all steel and everything. I guess the bottom line is run what you brung and hope that you brung enough. All are welcome! :beer Stop on by.
