Mustang spelled backwards? Maximum speed @ 350 HP is 289 MPH. Jurca used aluminum Buick motors in some models too. ws

Yeah certainly won't be putting the air pump back in. Might see if I can cap off in a bit of a better way.

Adam is it still a headache getting an MOT ? I remember having to change rear lights and adding ugly fog lamps to the rear of cars . plus the inspections were real strict .

The law changed recently and it is no longer a requirement to have an MOT on any vehicle over 40 years - https://www.gov.uk/historic-vehicles

Personally, I would still do an MOT each year for the safety checks. As the certificate is not required, if it fails on the basis of items that I am not concerned about, such as the items you mention, I would simply ignore them. To me it is a simple and cheap way to have somebody look over the basic safety elements of the car and put my mind at ease.

I agree mate . there would be some real death traps out there otherwise . I remember my works van failed on not enough washer fluid in the bottle . it was a quarter full but they wouldn't have it

Oh wow! That's ridiculous! My Mini failed at BMW once because I had a TomTom on the windscreen. They said nothing should be attached to the front windscreen. I said what about the rear view mirror. They said that was factory fitted, so I said what about the tax disc. He just looked at me and said, just take the TomTom off for the test :p
