It kills that beautiful sound of headers, but that’s why the cutouts so I can hear that sweet sound anytime anywhere!

 

Dam that a lot of clamps....Looks good.

 

More progress, 4-speed hump welded in and sealed, shifter boot , carpet and seats back in.

 

Great attention to detail. Very nice car!

 

Love the bench seat with the 4-speed!

 

Looking forward to seeing what this setup is capable of with a worthy pilot. Nice thrashing.

 

Be sure to break the clutch in ....

 

I won’t be running it at the track, I don’t have the time to get any miles on it before hand. Mostly for the Stage 2 display next to Denny Manners tent.

 

12-13 works power brakes fine. Where I’m at.

 

I’m sure it is a better way, but it’s stainless and I’m not gonna go to the expense, You do it your way I’ll do it mine, I have no problem with clamps.

 

Day 2 Stage 2 has good brakes now, starts, drives and stops how it should, even got its hood back on along with dog dishes today. Now the cleaning starts ugggggg….

Maiden voyage out of the neighborhood, Drove it 20 miles to Blackies house without any mishaps thank God.

I can see both of you circling town steadily cracking the throttle more and more as the rings seat and the miles stack up. I made some 1/8th mile passes in my 73 against my two oldest sons in a 2006 gto for the first time 2 years ago.We had so much fun.

 

Sounds like you know firsthand how great it is to have kids that love cars also.
Oh it’s coming, we’re going to a cruise night tonight, ya never know might be the night for alittle teaser.
