If it doesn't sell soon I will mothball it until the convertible is up to snuff. It KILLS me that I am selling a car this clean. For those of you out in the dry Southwest, the car is 'typical'. For those of use who are used to cars in the rust belt...

I love my stepchild car but the two car deals I lost my A$$ on were both 69 cars.

This is a Stage 1 car and is really clean so I am still a little puzzled on the lack of action at such a low price. I already have a 69 Stage car that needs a full resto it will probably never get so I am out but would love to have a silver stage car. It would be a great companion to my Silver 71.

Must just be the "climate" of the marketplace.

I am in the midst of getting killed on some late model repairable stuff I bought to part out too so it is ugly all over.

    I feel your pain.:spank:

Yeah, I bought some stuff from someone that could see the future better than I did. I tend to pick up junk close to fall because people always have storage issues to contend with in snow season with non-running stuff. I have had a much tougher time moving it over the last 2 months. Mostly I have just been getting 0 for my time, but I had to blow out of a couple of things to keep the 71 project moving along.

Just less cash being spent right now.

I will PM my info, please reply with the same...

Come on Chris, you pick up junk anytime of the year! :moonu: If you'd stop drinking beer and talking you might actually turn a profit:beers2: That POS GS 350 is right where we left it:Do No:

George, pack it up and put it on ice, no since giving it away.

This car needs to hurry and sell before I buy it. My wife would kill me but it is a nice car.

Here'sa detailed description of the car andpicsto follow. Again, this is a PROJECT car. I began dis-assembly due to future restoration. It will need parts- misc under dash hoses (flexable ducting, etc). Plus, wiring (under dash) will need to be sorted out...
    Grille- restorable- cracks, etc.
Hood- I have OK scoops and seal plates, original Stage 1 emblems and BUICK lettering as well as the stainless pieces. Some chips, some small cracks around the scoop areas (typical) and PAINT CRACKING around the BUICK letters.
-Fenders- complete. Dents noted PS lower fender (can be dollied out). DS hood hinge is cracked.
-Inners- DS clean, PS is better than most. Still needs a patch.
-Base of the windshield/ cowl- spotless
-Surface rust (small amount) on A pillars.
-Doors- chips, very few dings. Not rot. 69 Soft Ray tinted glass. Hinges creak loudly (either replace or lube).
    -Roof- clean.
-Quarters- few dings and scrapes. LIPS HAVE BEEN ROLLED. Could be dollied out. There was a scrape that dented the PS quarter- ~ 10-12 inches long above the wheel well. There were 6 holes drilled for the dent puller with scrape pulled out and small amount of filler to fill low spot (picture).
-Trunk lid- original, rot free. The vacuum release was removed (before me) and the area around it is wavy (picture). Vac hose is still there.
-Trunk- clean. Wire wheel and ? some acid to clean up the surface rust. NO ROT, NO WEAK SPOTS. Underside is SPOTLESS.
-Frame- light sanding. Some original silver over spray and some black over spray.
-Floors- SPOTLESS. THE CLEANEST FLOORS I HAVE SEEN PERIOD.
    -Rear window channel- no rot.
-Roor- vynil top was removed by previous owner. Some surface rust was found. Roof was DA'ed and primer sprayed over the bare metal. I can see some slight waves which the top will cover.
-All of the emblems are present. Some pits in the trunk swing away emblem. GS SPECIFIC trunk edge trim is present. Belt reveal trim is present. All of the vynil top trim is present. There are a few dings in the drip channel moldings. Will need new rear wheel well moldings- due to being rolled with quarter lips.
-INTERIOR: it is dusty/ dirty. The rear speaker holes were slightly cut and rolled for bigger speakers. NO ROT!! The roof sound deadner is flaking off (dry). I have a 'better' steering wheel. Under dash wiring is funky. The 2 dash pads I have- 1 has several cracks, the original is toast. Perfect black padded pillar covers. original. No sun visiors. No radio bezel. Again, lots of sweeping, vaccuming, etc. Will upload pics shortly

Just to make everyone clear- There is no flexability on the price of $4000. Come on, folks. The car is dirt cheap as it is.

Jason- the car has been sitting for some 10-15 YEARS. So, the 3.55 rear would have to be placed in, wheel cylinders, etc. Then, new lines for the front and new lines from the master cylinder (as it is in my basement). Also, if you planned on driving it, you would have to instal an exhaust, get the engine running, etc. I am placing the 455 IN the bay- not wiring it and getting it running. Sorry, I have very little time as it is. If you want me to do all that, the car will NOT be ready tp go until the FALL.
