I had a 1972 Pontiac Grand Ville Convertible and it was that color. I think they called it Pewter something or other :Do No:

Yeh, but it doesn't look it would take to much, just dusty mostly.
I did call the guy, he's had it only a couple of months, bought it locally
from a guy that had it for ten years and used it mostly for parades.
Speaking of which, what do you call that hard style boot, any special name for it? Looks like it is designed especially for good looking babes to sit on! :Brow:

Thanks, so is the regular soft vinyl one just called a boot?
Some people call all boots, parade boots, whether they are
hard of soft. (But let's not go any further with that one) :Brow:

That's the way I understand it. He didn't say otherwise.
He bought it from a guy that had a few toys but had been
downsized like happens a lot these days. It's actually in
northern Kentucky just across the river from Cincy.
Did ask him about the color, said its got some metal flake in it
so changes a little depending on the light. Still called it silver though.

Thanks you guys.Nice car but i don't think it's 9,500.00 nice. But i just screwed up on the 76 Pace car that G-string bought. I looked at it and stumbled around over a 500.00 difference between myself and the seller. Next thing i hear is G-string bought it. I've been kicking myself since. Tom
