Our dad is going to going thrugh testing and evaluation WED tru Fri this week for a kidney transplant. This evaluation will determine where he gets placed on the list of people waiting for a transplant. Please pray that he gets placed high on the list. Thanks all.

I will pray for him. Eric, my mother donated one of her kidneys to my father. What are the odds of that? o No: But have everyone in your family tested, you never know. Besides the obvious blood type, I forget how many tissues need to match, I think its 3 out of 5. Goodluck though. :TU:
Thanks for all the prayers everyone. The first day is in the books. Everything went smoothly. We got to the hospital around 7:30 and didn't leave until 4:30. A very long day.

Tim, Its all outpaitent at The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Mom and Dad are staying at our house here in Lincoln.
Rob, your mother matching your father is about a 3% chance of occuring. Lucky man, he was. Eric and I are going up today for some initial bloodwork to see if either one of us is a suitable donor. Keep your fingers crossed.
