Need help? Here's the link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2458691359&category=16124 :TU: It appears to be in good condition for an impounder. I think it has a 340 engine in it. pretty nice though. -Cody
its funny... i knew a girl named Leah who moved to AZ.... doubt it would be her though. would make a nice cruzer. Nate
Motor looks like may have been gone thru lately ...o No: Nice Driver and I like the seat covers !:Brow: :3gears:
I think that looks like one of the new ones. It's been a year and a half since I was down there last though. Ooooooohhhhh, it has the rare "trunk lock delete" package. Must be a stripper. :TU:
I don't understand why anyone would put a bid on an item with so long until the end [refer to thread about sniping from several months ago]. If it were local, I'd probably be interested up to about $1000. That's if it is as straight and rust free as it's supposed to be.
I have found that by putting a low bid in early it helps pin the item down so the seller doesn't end auction early without at least giving me a shot at it.
I understand for tracking purposes and if you're not going to be there when it ends, but for actual "competitive" bidding it doesn't make much sense. But that thread has already been beaten to death. This '67 doesn't look too bad either. I wonder what Leah did to get it impounded???
This car looks pretty cool. It might be something nice to drive around in while I work on my '66!! :Brow: I didn't know they offered a 350 in '67? o No: Did they?? I emailed the seller and he says they did. I thought they only offered the 300, 340 and 400...
If it is a 350 it is a transplant. It should be a 340 if it is original it is hard to tell from the picture. First year for the 350 was '68.
well..... ....I put a bid on it.....and yes the wife will want to kill me too... I am not saying a word........looks pretty straight! Chris
....went up to look at this I saw this today...drove up to Phoenix. It is a 340 with 2bbl. Runs pretty strong. Interior needs work...headliner, upholstery, ..dash has some cracks.....not a police impound but a "non-profit" car auction joint.....they had a lot of interesting cars including a 70 Sport Wagon that was very decent. 67 Skylark has some rust bubbling on the roof above the drivers door but floors and frame looked ok. I put bid in for $1300 on ebay which is all I can afford....or should I say can't afford! Didn't see Leah anywhere but right next door was a yard that had quite a few Buicks in it. Chris
Looks like this one sold for $2225 to Desert Valley Auto Parts... wonder if next week it will be on their site selling for $4000!
