My condolences to the family. Sometimes we don't understand GODS plan but still must have faith HE knows best.
Andrew’s funeral is this afternoon He loved all things “Army” His supporters were called Andrews Army And now so will his foundation. It will give scholarships to siblings of children with the same cancer as Andrew. We made a shadow box for his mom. Pictures attached. My son gladly gave up his tank to create the box. Gonna be a difficult afternoon. Their gonna play Taps as he exits the church. Don’t know how I’m going to hold it together.
So sorry to hear about him losing his battle ...my thoughts, prayers, and condolences for your and his family and all others involved.
The funeral and service was very nice. Very difficult to see such a little guy like that... especially with a son the same age. He was in his favorite blue camo uniform with his name embroider on it. Peaceful. His mother spoke for a bit... about his story and how he touched so many people. She did an awesome job. Lots of pictures of all the things he’s done in his short life. He did alot of cool things. At the end they wheeled his casket outside by the flag and a trumpeter played Taps. Chills down your spine I tell ya. That was the hardest part. Lots of tears. Then into the car. He will be creamated and kept at home. They’re a military family so moving is a big possibility and they want Andrew with them. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers guys. And the forum to let my words out.
