Pinks ALL OUT will be coming to Summit Motorsports Park (Formally Norwalk Raceway Park) on June 6-7th in 2008. I just got the e-mail from them and the best way to sign up is thru the internet. They are going to take the first 400 that sign up. Registration will be at 12 noon on Dec 3rd. Most of the time the cars that are in this are the low 10 to 9.90 cars. Guy, you can use my singleplane intake if you get to race there in June! We may even have a tunnel ram by then!
Gary I think that we will have a few more than just 4-5 Buicks that are trying to get into the field. I know of about 10 Buicks that will be there, and that included you guys. We should be able to get at least one car into the 16 car field hopefully with the ET range we have covered with everyone. Talk to you soon
Hey guys Good luck if you go. BUT I personally am getting sick of every single time I turn on Speed channel I see PINKS. That and Unique whips. I know there are more car type programs out there. I used to love Speed but hardly watch it anymore.
You just took the words right out of my mouth on that one. I was thinking about that because I am definetly going to enter this, I am only 1and 1/2 hours away from there. I may not get in that low 10 second range but I can surely represent us 350 cars that are out there. Plus I can put the Intake on there and go to a buddy that I know that has a dyno shop to get tuned in. Those guys are going to go also they are all Mustang freaks and they have some fast ones also. A couple Procharged cars, a Ken Bell Whipple charged one. Then there is is one guy I know that has a Turbo Charged one that has gone in the high nines and he has to shift it also. Hopefully I will be back to work when all of this happens.
The reason you see so much "Pinks" on Speed is because "NASCAR" season is over and "The NASCAR Channel" Oops, I mean Speed Channel has a lot of open air time. Mike D.
For sure I will get you an intake and maybe even a tunnel ram with direct port nitrous injection. You just may be able to get in the tens!!!
Hey guys I just talked to a friend that was just at Norwalk buying fuel for his race car. He said the phone was ringing off the wall, the person helping him said they are getting between 35 - 40 calls an hour about how people could cerconvent the entry date and get theirs in early. The person there said the 400 cars will be filled within 5 minutes of the start time of excepting applications. GOOD luck to those that get in, I just put in for the time off to go see this fiasco. One of the guys that comes into our work delivering said that when they called the track, they told them that there are people camping out there already to get tickets on Monday morning. I would like to get into the show.....but not that bad. So hopefully we can get a couple people in the show.
I keep running into Nate from Pinks at NHRA events. Talked to him at Englishtown last Spring, Maple Grove in August and then I said hello to him again at the Shakedown at E-Town last month. The track announcer said Pinks is coming to E-Town this coming Summer as well. Nate confirmed it when I asked him. He's a nice kid. Real knowledgable about racing. I like that he's not a phony.
It looks like the dust settled & 400 + extras have been recorded. Doug Paine made the field & i made it as an alternate so far. Randy

Wow, this is gonna be a good show. I might have to make it down from Ontario just to watch the racing that weekend, and represent for the Buicks! Yay for the Paines!
John Jr. was trying as well but the page kept locking up from overuse so he had a hard time getting in. He said he thinks they took his credit card info but he hasn't gotten any confirmation. Joy, did you get any conf. e-mail or anything when you got Doug in?
