Wow, looks like a black bear.

  5. I have 2 cats, both are rare breeds and have distinct personalities.

The first to arrive was Taily (named by my then 3 year old son, I wanted to call him "BOB" ) Taily is a stub tail manx... hence the name. He picked us. From as near as we can tell Taily was abandoned in our neighborhood.... quite roughly .... we think he was stuffed in a bag and dropped off. He is terrified of plastic bags. He would follow my son all over the yard and sleep on our front porch. My next door neighbor fed him so he just decided to stay. Since he followed my boy around so closely we decided to take him to the Vets office and have him checked and make sure he had his shots. After I got the Vets bill I decided that Taily needed to come inside , I just couldnt spend that much money on a cat and have him roaming the streets afterward. Well that was just great as far as my son was concerned and they are pretty much inseperable. Taily definately lives by the creed of "Dogs have owners .... cats have staff". He comes to see everyone that comes to the house just to let them know who is really in charge. We have had him for 7 years now and hes a good cat.

Hobbes is the bad one. She gets into EVERYTHING, ignores all the "cat rules" drives my wife crazy by leaving her toys all over the house, but is just the most lovable misfit you would ever want to meet. She is named after the old cartoon strip "Calvin and Hobbes" and she is a blue tonkinese. Tonks are a siamese burmese mix and the blues are supposedly the rarest. Im not an expert on cats but this is what Ive been told. She was the runt of her litter and almost didint survive and she was given to my wife by one of her friends when Hobbes was just 9 weeks old. The very first thing she did when she got in the door was to pee on my jacket. Guess she showed me huh? Hobbes is very small and is thoroughly convinced that she is any kind of creature at all except a cat. She jumps up on your shoulder and will sit there like your a pirate and shes a parrot. You can walk all over the house and do whatever you want Hobbes will just sit there. She also plays fetch like a dog until your arm is ready to drop off. She wont eat cat food and her favorite food is Arbys french dip sandwiches. She also comes to see everyone who comes into Tailys house.

Now lets see if I can rustle up a picture. Well no such luck on the pics so Ill try to go with a descrition.

Taily is orange and white weighs approx 18 pounds (Hes a big un ). Hobbes is grey (Blue... but it sure looks grey to me)with what Im told are very good markings for a Tonk. She is tiny and is about 8 inches tall and weighs what feels to be about 3-4 pounds. But its all attitude. She battles with Taily everyday and if Taily is the king of the house she is assuredly the queen.

I had one of those for a pet. It was a female and over a foot long. Kept her for a year then let her go. She never ceased to amaze me by how docile (and strong) she was.

I guess I can post a pic of one of my exterminators (the other one is almost identical to this one). They're both really good at killing things smaller than them, but I've never seen them get a bird though they might have eaten it before I got there. They really like snakes, but only the heads.

Three dogs. 8 year old 70 pound Lab/Pointer mix, 3 year old 50 pound heinz 57 mutt, and my Police K9 partner, 4 year old 88 pound all black german shepherd. They all get along and can be in the 10x10 kennel without a problem. They are all fantastic with my daughter, less than 2 years old and she loves dogs. My K9 has a switch, he acts like one of the family at home, and turns all business when I put him in the squad. He is the most loyal dog I have had and I am constantly amazed at what he can do.
