Overhaulin' TV Show - probably gonna be a SBC crate motor in a Skylark

hate to be the bearer of bad news boys and girls but the car came into the shop w/ a chevy to start...yuck!!!

 

yeah saw that but what was that other engine they showed then?? It sure didn't look like a chevy, maybe they popped that in the show just to appease the hardnose buick guys complaining about the chevy??? :grin:

Just watched the show.. it was a SBC to start, they rebuilt it, and it was a 67 Lark. Now if they put that stereo in my car I'd sue the network to have them switch it back to the seat that matched the interior. Just give me 2 6x9's and two 5's in the door and I'm happy. The trunks on these cars makes a REALLY AWESOME box for the speakers, no need for all this fancy shiite.

Oh, sweet paintjob though. I love Foose's flames. Esp the ones he did on that black Chebby peekup.

 

Kinda neat after working on one for 2+ years to see all the familiar parts on TV...
