'99 Lightning. Bought new. First one sold in Wi. Added about 125hp while keeping it looking stock. Never seen rain with just over 12K miles.
    Getting ready for storage.

A little over 500hp and put in 4:10 gears. Anything under 30mph stab it, down shifts to 1st and rips the tires apart.

Very NICE! I really want a 1st Gen Lightning (93-95) to go with my F-250, but I'd probably pull the 351W out and put in a 2nd Gen blower engine.

    Ha!
bought a first gen lighting new in '94. Stuck a Kenne Bell Wipple surpercharger on it with there boost a pump.
Towed my GSX race car back in the day. Back in that time, through my parts dept. being a Ford dealership, we sold and installed many, many K/B surperchargers.

Took the big guy out in the woods today. Got a couple new guns that needed sighted in and this is a perfect spot at the end of a forest service road.

I bought a new-to-me daily driver a few months ago. I have not posted it until now because, judging by posts I have seen, it must be the most hated brand of car on this site. But I like it! It is a 2012 BMW 135i convertible. It has the 3.0 turbo six with the 7 speed DCT (dual clutch transmission) and the M-Sport package. And it only had 26,000 miles on it when I bought it.

Great picture. Excellent vehicle. My Dad bought one of these and we drove it for several years. Terrific vehicle!

Some nice rides, Sir. Is that first one a TVR? What are the rest of yours, may I ask?

What are the plans for the Packard, Ronnie? Is that a Skylark up to the back of it?

Yeah the Skylark is right behind it. With the Packard I want to bring it's original drivetrain back to life. Well at least the engine, I hear nothing but good things of Packard V8 after slightly modifying it. The transmission might stay but I really want to adapter Packard V8 to a GM th350, th 400 or even 4 L 80. I want to get rid of that side trim molding and paint it all one color, it has a ground positive system that I want to run through and reverse. The Packard is a project for the future but then I'm still planning out right now, all my chips are going to the Skylark currently. One another form I asked someone to photoshop the Packard black and gold and those are the pictures that I'm going to be sharing. I want to keep the torsion leveling system. tapatalk_1511063352489.jpeg tapatalk_1511063344906.jpeg

I like the black better. Or even charcoal gray metallic.

Me too man. I told the guy that if he could photo shop some copper color rims. Have you ever had any experience or stories about these Packards or thier v8's?

Love that Packard Ronnie, those things are as scarce as teeth on a chicken. Packard did get it's V-8 right, but by the time those cars were released, the rot in the company was well established and the quality control was non-existent, most of those cars never lasted outside 5 years before ending up a the wreckers. So you have a scarce little survivor, and it looks like it's pretty much still in original condition. Nice score!

Thanks Bud, I bought it for only 350$. I always wanted a 55,56,57 GM hardtop but am happy with the Packard. The man I bought if from had over 30 in a lot in the high desert of .CA so time has not beat it up so much. The engine is complete all but a distributor, back seats look ok. I just like too look at it and think of the future. When ever I get around I'll start a build thread on here in the other car section
