Parked properly between the lines at Walmart today, plenty of room between the cars, came out to find this. Obviously some ignorant POS just had to shove their shopping cart along side my DD. I just washed it a few hours earlier and fortunately it did buff out but still.... some people just suck. IMG_2415.JPG IMG_2414.JPG

Its like that anywhere, no respect for other peoples property. My wifes daily driver which sees all sorts of parking lots looks like someone took a hammer down the side, all door dings....
My 2017 Silverado got a huge crease at my work parking lot where someone must had flung their door open. Most of the crease came out with a toilet plunger but you can still see where it was..

Their is no respect or pride in ownership with most people these days...

Last week I met a guy I'll call Richard at our local Walmart. I was returning a battery core in the auto center area. Theres a single row of parking spaces along a curb across from the bay doors. Anyway as I pull in I see Richard, wearing a muscle shirt and pressed white pants with his little convertible sports car parked at a 45* across 2.5 spaces. with just one open spot between him and another car. Driving my long wheel base high top Sprinter van I whipped it right into that spot then made it a point to go around the front of the van so I was squeezing in between his car and mine to get the battery out of the side door. As I came face to face with Richard my mouth opened and I asked" dude, why did you park so F'd up? Guy seemed to get really mad. Then I said oh wait... I know, you're special!. at this point the veins in his neck were throbbing. His reply was "are you special?" Answered why yes, yes I am and I've never seen you at any of the special guy club meetings. By now I had my battery in hand and was walking towards the store as he was shouting profanity across the parking lot. Was really hoping he was gone by the time I was done in the store. In hind site I dont know who was the bigger dick. Anyway I feel I made my point.

It’s gotta be a Wal-Mart thing. The wife and I were out in the Wildcat a couple of years ago, and she needed something at the local store. I dropped her off at the entrance, and proceeded to park, facing out, at the farthest end of the parking lot where I would be able to see her when she walked out. The entire row was empty except for me. Not there 5 minutes and a Chrysler LeBaron convertible with what looked like 17 people in it drove straight down the row and proceeded to pull up toward the spot RIGHT next to me. I started it up and moved before they parked. I believe it’s something in the air outside the store that makes people do that stuff.

I ALWAYS return my cart either to the store or cart return.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna T Bone those people that drive across the parking lot thru the parking spaces, they don’t even drive slow or careful, they fucking fly!
Next time I’m driving the van to Giant Eagle and I see someone doing that if they’re going perpendicular to the traffic lane and they cross my path BAM, sweet:D:rolleyes::eek:;)

My buddy and I were sitting in his beater Dodge Neon outside our favorite watering hole bs'ing before going in. This car is hammered. There's at least 20 open spots with many of them right next to the building. Well, up pulls a 65ish year old guy with what I assume is his family in a brand new black SUV (can't remember what, they all look the same anymore). They park right next to us. As we're sitting there, the guy and his 40 something "kid" get out of the SUV and door ding the living he!! out of the Neon. Like slam the doors into it, with us sitting in the car with the windows down. Well, me and my buddy get out and ask what the "eff" they think they're doing and what the problem is....Mr. driver just says "oh, sorry" and continues to walk into the building. My buddy doesn't take that so well and gets in front of him and proceeds to inform him that he's lucky it's his beater they just doored the bajeebus out of and he better learn how to park and respect other people's property. Guy obviously doesn't care and isn't getting it. So we went back and doored the brand new black SUV right on back with that beater little Neon, dinging the heck out of it right in front of them. Weirdly, it didn't seem to faze them at all. They just went into the building and ate dinner. Some people have no sense and no pride in ownership.

Walmart is in general a cesspool of humanity imo, but that another conversation for another day.

With vehicles specifically, it seems the general populous takes less and less interest in keeping them nice. They're appliances, throw away items, so they don't care if they use it like a battering ram not caring if they destroy it and your car in the process.

Luke... that was probably a lease unit. Already dinged up so WTF... Briz, that was quick thinking on your part. Shoulda dropped that battery on his sandals LOL...or popped the caps and dumped it inside the beemer thing. I wouldve gotten 10.00 worth of satisfaction outa that. ws

If I can’t park in the “nose bleed” section, I try to park along the curb so I only have to worry about one car next to me. If those aren’t an option then I try to park next to a really nice car...someone I think appreciates cars as much as I do.

I think (not that anyone cares what I think) :D it has a lot to do with location, I can relate to most of the above comments while living in Pahrump Nv. and Tacoma Wa. Here In Kalispell Mt. it is a different world, people are far more courteous and friendly here.

That's what I do, too, Ben. A nice car next to you is generally a safe bet....Bill, it may have been a lease vehicle, but it was fresh off the lot. Still had it's 40 day sticker. I was amazed at their nonchalance attitude to say the least. Totally shocked.....Shhhhhhhh, Bob, don't tell people that stuff. We're all A-holes here in Montana! Stay away! ;):D

I'll bet that my '05 Magnum that we bought new has 8-10 small dents in it from just that kind of inconsideration.

I had an encounter at a South Jersey Mall back in 1990 with my Gran national when I was dating my wife she was working at the mall at the time I came out from visiting her and there was a light blue car parked next to me I went to unlock the driver side door and I see a huge crease in the door with a little bit of blue paint I was so pissed I got in my car I pulled out I went back around the aisle and parked in the same spot I got out and I rearrange the whole side of the car. Of course you could do something like that today with all the cameras around but I felt a whole lot better. See pictures of driver side door crease is hard to see in the picture.
