I always park in the nosebleed section. I parked my truck in the middle of nowhere at Home Depot. I come out a the shopping buggy guy sees me walking towards my truck park way out in the empty section. Buggy guy says, a guy with a trailer was making a turn out by my truck and he saw my truck rock and the guy drove out of Home Depot. He couldn't get the license number. The guy had hit the corner of the bed with the trailer. Now I park in the corner or by a light pole

Its funny that we all talk about the Walmart people but the only way we see them is by going to Walmart. I often wonder if I am one of those people since I do go to Walmart from time to time (rarely).:p
I don't door ding cars, I pull my pants up, don't wear anything that I think I look sexy in or have slept in, I think my clothes match, I shower, have all my teeth, but I suppose most of the walmartins think the same way so who knows :D

Rental cars have plates here. You get your plates immediately from the court house when registering a car unless you're getting personalized plates. They have stacks of them and you pick your style and they hand them to you when you pay....as I said, there is no doubt it was this guys's car, unless he borrowed it from someone, in which case he's a bigger d-bag than even I believed him to be.....

Some people are so inconsiderate. I bet I haven’t been to a Wal-Mart in over 20 years though.

When I had a Mini Cooper, I'd do the inverse—I'd park right next to inconsiderate drivers. A car taking up two spots + me was still two spots, so I just made it so they could not get into the driver's side. One guy hocked a loogie on my window when I got back one time, while another (a woman, judging by the writing) wrote a note about how inconsiderate I was.

For parking between the lines? :D

I always took photos before so I had license plate info plus it showed that I was not doing anything wrong. I would never hurt someone else's property. (Red car is a rental.)

When I was a kid, my mom mildly bumped into a car. She left a note, which was a good example to a 5 year-old like me. Lady later became my babysitter. :)

Every car I've owned has been dinged or backed into in a parking lot. The 2 that have been backed into ,no note left with any info who did it and fixed on my dime. My Skylark is the only survivor so far, like everyone else I'm careful where I park, but I also have installed a 2 channel dash cam with "parking " mode. Cause I know it will happen at some point and I want a record of it and hopefully a shot of the license plate ! I have caught a lot of people on the dash cam coming over to the car and checking it out while i'm in the store . My wife is amazed at the number of people and what they say, lol. I think it's money well spent.

Part of the problem is dumbing down in America with toy sized parking spots. Somewhere Im sure there is a "standard" for occupancy on a mini cooper vs. an Electra 225 form 1970 to 2019! Hell, they can squeeze another 20% more spaces in a lot for no more asphalt, just paint for stripes. JMHO... ws

I've actually caught two people that door dinged by daily drivers. Each were incredulous I would even bring it up to them. They did both pay, out of pocket I might add, for the repairs. I just hope they learned a lesson and are more careful around others property. In both instances, I was parked far, far away from others and they chose the parking spot right next to my car when many others were available.

I thought of this thread just this morning when my wife got home after a long night shift in the ER and smacked my truck with her car door in the garage.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Didn't leave a mark thankfully, but I just thought "why even try"

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt since she pulled 13 hours in a level 1 trauma ED on 2 hours of sleep, but still...

My daughter got out of my wife's SUV and flung the door open so hard it looked like she Kung-Fu kicked it open. It put a massive dent in my brand new VW Jetta (less than 2000 miles). I was SOOO angry...in hindsight I'm a little embarrassed at how angry I was. I'm not sure if I was angry about my car or the carelessness. The next week I was driving down the road and a rock skipped up off the road and cracked my windshield from side to side!

I swore that was a sign for me to trade that car in for one that I really wanted....a 2017 Mustang GT. Two weeks into owning the Mustang a rock skipped up off the road and dented my hood in 2 places and cracked my windshield. I knew that was God teaching me a lesson!

Diego, back in the early '60s I backed into the front of a parked '59 Plymouth. I broke the right front parking light lens. That was the only damage. There was a house party going on close by, so I correctly assumed that the owner was at the party. I told him what had happened, and that I would pay for the lens and even install it for him. About a week later I was notified by my insurance carrier (Hartford at the time) that there was a claim against me for over $900. I then heard from the local police that I had not reported an accident where the damage was over $200. I called Hartford and told them what had actually happened, and they said that they wouldn't fight the claim because it would cost too much. I found out later that the owner left the party besotted with gin and hit a tree on the way home. I was forced to repurchase my car insurance through the Massachusetts "assigned risk" bureau, and I have an accident on my record that never happened. Sorry guys, the only way I'll leave my name and contact info is after a cop inspects the damage, and before the damaged car moves.

I backed into the front of my insurance agents car as I leaving with my brand new policy in hand. ( I was 17) Sat there in the 65 Chevy flat nose van several minutes debating on going in and fessing up. I did and the agent asked why I sat out there so long before I came in........ Ya, he saw the whole thing. My parents taught me right
