If the bushings look OK, I say get the car running and enjoy some time in it! You've waited this long for the next chapter. You can always do a front end rebuild later. With a lift its easy. Start accumulating parts...

I agree, as long as your changing oil, since you gotta take the filter off anyway , may as well lift the body offered frame then clean and paint:p:p:p

Well I've always dreamed of having a big block. Now that I have it I just need to get it in the car.
Fall/Winter of 2022/2023 I replaced a blown head gasket on the driver's side of the 350 that's in the car. I was cussing and fussing a lot trying to get to the center lower header bolt. It wasn't as hard 23 years ago when I put them on! Anyway I got the engine fired back up then 5 minutes later the passenger side head started leaking oil out the front between the block and head. After that happened I said the h3!! with it I'm building another engine and I might as well find a 455 for a swap. So I did and here I am...
I haven't been to the GS Nationals since 1998 so am looking forward to going this year. The first Nationals I attended was while I was still in high school back in 1992. I drug my father with me from here in Southern Indiana to Bowling Green. We had a good time so I tried to go every year afterwards if I could. The Skylark got put on the side while I focused on other car projects...the paint is 28 years old and there's a few minor dings mostly from storage in the shop. But the paint still shines and should clean up real nice.
