NOS 70-2 Core Support--Possible cheap delivery to Chicago (from Austin)

This support was lightly installed in my car a couple years ago....by "lightly installed" I mean it was set on the frame rails, radiator set in it, top plate and associated parts installed (nose piece, hood lock and battery tray). Front clip was not installed.....rad support was held upright with a long metal tube running from one of the P side front fender mount holes back to the one of the fender mount brackets on the P side of the firewall. Headlight bucket adjuster screw blocks are installed as well as the 2 odd looking factory original hood bumper receptacle/clips that press into a square hole on the top rail.

So---some of the bolt holes will show that a bolt has been threaded in (ie- the paint in the bolt threads shows this). I only used replated original bolts for this so there aren't any odd sized/wrong sized holes anywhere on the support.

Later on I acquired/repaired and installed a very clean used support on this car as it's not a 100% concours type resto and I've also done a lot of used core support repairs and the used one turned out nice enough for my purposes.

So far I am unable to "nail down" any firm time/dates and/or whether or not this trip is going to occur....customer's car is still in "body shop prison" and he can't tell me when it'll be back in Chicago....so......

At this point I'm going to move this deal to "shipping only" deal.

Anyone on the list needs to POST HERE as to whether or not they are willing to pay shipping (which will be approx $110 via Greyhound) in addition to the price of the support, etc ("loaded" or "unloaded").

Thanks for the update Patton. If Todd has a client that needs it I'll pass. I'm not ready for the resto yet and it sounds like he could use it more than me.

 

Same here won't need it for awhile, so I will pass too since it looks like someone can use it right away.
